'Paradise' Season 2 Cast Changes: 9 Main Actors Returning, 2 Surprise Returns Confirmed, & 6 Exciting Stars Join Hulu Show

The second season of Paradise has arrived and there are some big changes to the cast, including some surprise returns.

The Hulu series became a big hit at the beginning of 2025 and it went on to earn several Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.

The show’s creator Dan Fogelman confirms he has a three-season plan for the series and there are some surprises in store for season two, including the return of some unexpected cast members.

“We have this very precise three-year plan, and this next season coming is kind of the middle episode of our trilogy with also its own beginning, middle and end,” Dan told THR. “We have a three-season story that’s bigger than what people think it is right now, and it’s going to span a couple of genres.”

Based on the events at the end of season one, you’ll be surprised by some of these updates. We also know of six exciting stars who have joined the cast!

Sterling K. Brown Joins Pregnant Nicole Brydon Bloom, Julianne Nicholson, & More at 'Paradise' Season 2 Premiere

Sterling K. Brown is looking sharp on the red carpet!

The 49-year-old Emmy-winning actor was joined by wife Ryan Michelle Bathe at the season two premiere of his Hulu series Paradise on Wednesday (February 18) held at the Paramount Theatre in Los Angeles.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Julianne Nicholson, pregnant Nicole Brydon Bloom, Sarah Shahi, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, Jon Beavers, Krys Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Matt Malloy, and Charlie Evans along with show creator Dan Fogelman.

Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty, and Michael McGrady, who all joined the cast for season two, were also in attendance.

Here’s the synopsis for season two: “Xavier searches for Teri out in the world and learns how people survived the three years since The Day. Back in Paradise, the social fabric frays as the bunker deals with the aftermath of Season 1, and new secrets are uncovered about the city’s origins.”

Paradise returns with new episodes on February 23 on Hulu. Watch the trailer here!

Sterling K. Brown is recovering from an injury while at the Emmys!

The 49-year-old actor skipped the red carpet and used a scooter to roll on stage at the 2025 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 14) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Sterling and his Paradise co-stars James Marsden and Julianne Nicholson presented an award together. More stars from the show who attended included Krys Marshall, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Jon Beavers, and Charlie Evans.

Sterling explained his injury the other day on Instagram.

Paradise picked up four Emmy nominations, including one for Outstanding Drama Series, and is confirmed to return for a second season.

The Hulu series finished airing on the streamer in March 2025 and then ABC started airing it in primetime.

The streaming service has already confirmed that a second season is in the works and the show’s creator Dan Fogelman confirms he has a three-season plan for the series. We know of several casting changes and additions for the next season already!
