The second season of Paradise has arrived and there are some big changes to the cast, including some surprise returns.

The Hulu series became a big hit at the beginning of 2025 and it went on to earn several Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.

The show’s creator Dan Fogelman confirms he has a three-season plan for the series and there are some surprises in store for season two, including the return of some unexpected cast members.

“We have this very precise three-year plan, and this next season coming is kind of the middle episode of our trilogy with also its own beginning, middle and end,” Dan told THR. “We have a three-season story that’s bigger than what people think it is right now, and it’s going to span a couple of genres.”

Based on the events at the end of season one, you’ll be surprised by some of these updates. We also know of six exciting stars who have joined the cast!

Sterling K. Brown is looking sharp on the red carpet!

The 49-year-old Emmy-winning actor was joined by wife Ryan Michelle Bathe at the season two premiere of his Hulu series Paradise on Wednesday (February 18) held at the Paramount Theatre in Los Angeles.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Julianne Nicholson, pregnant Nicole Brydon Bloom, Sarah Shahi, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, Jon Beavers, Krys Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Matt Malloy, and Charlie Evans along with show creator Dan Fogelman.

Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty, and Michael McGrady, who all joined the cast for season two, were also in attendance.

Here’s the synopsis for season two: “Xavier searches for Teri out in the world and learns how people survived the three years since The Day. Back in Paradise, the social fabric frays as the bunker deals with the aftermath of Season 1, and new secrets are uncovered about the city’s origins.”

Paradise returns with new episodes on February 23 on Hulu. Watch the trailer here!

Paradise picked up four Emmy nominations, including one for Outstanding Drama Series, and is confirmed to return for a second season.

The Hulu series finished airing on the streamer in March 2025 and then ABC started airing it in primetime.

The streaming service has already confirmed that a second season is in the works and the show’s creator Dan Fogelman confirms he has a three-season plan for the series. We know of several casting changes and additions for the next season already!

Based on the events at the end of season one, there are some actors who seemingly will not be back for the next season. We do have confirmation that one actor will definitely be back despite their fate being up in the air.

The stars of American Fiction are hitting the red carpet!

Jeffrey Wright and Sterling K. Brown both looked sharp as they arrived at the 2024 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 10) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Joining Jeffrey on the red carpet were his kids Elijah and Juno while Sterling had the support of wife Ryan Michelle Bathe.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Erika Alexander, Issa Rae, John Ortiz, and Keith David.

For their roles in American Fiction, Jeffrey is nominated for Best Actor while Sterling is nominated for Best Supporting Actor. The movie is also nominated Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Original Score.

Make sure to tune in TONIGHT for the Oscars, airing on ABC at 7pm ET / 4pm PT. The show will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and there are so many incredible stars expected to present throughout the show. The stars of the Oscar-nominated movie American Fiction at the 2024 Film Independent Spirit Awards!

Jeffrey Wright and Sterling K. Brown both hit the red carpet on Sunday afternoon (February 25) at the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, Calif.

Jeffrey is up for Best Lead Performance and Sterling is up for Best Supporting Performance for their work in the movie. They’re also both nominated for Oscars this year!

Also in attendance at the show was Erika Alexander, who was also nominated for Best Supporting Performance, as well as writer and director Cord Jefferson, who won Best Screenplay.

Jeffrey was seen meeting up with fellow Oscar nominee Colman Domingo on the red carpet.

FYI: Sterling is wearing a Grayscale suit, Manolo Blahnik shoes, and a Tag Heuer watch.
