We are getting an update on what’s happening with Sony’s live-action Spider-Man universe!

The production studio has churned out several Spider-Man movies in the past, along with quite a few movies about Spider-Man villains, including the Venom trilogy, Madame Web, Morbius and Kraven the Hunter.

While the films haven’t been performing that well at the box office over the past few years, a Sony executive is speaking out about what’s happening with the Spider-Verse, and if more movies are coming.

There has been no official promo material for the upcoming Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

However, recently, there has been a blurb circulating the Internet that has been labeled a “synopsis” of the film by some fans!

You may be wondering where that came from. Well, a book listing for Penguin Random House’s “The Art of the Movie” has a blurb attached. The book won’t be released until August 4, 2026.

The next live-action Spider-Man movie wrapped filming this month!

Tom Holland will return to his role as the web-slinging hero for his fourth solo film, a first for the Marvel superhero.

The actor follows in the footsteps of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in portraying Peter Parker on screen, and they, of course, even appeared all together in Spider-Man: No Way Home!

However, prior to those three guys booking the part, there have been many other actors who also auditioned for the superhero role, including for films that never even got made.

The 23-year-old actress will appear in the fourth Spider-Man film, but her role is still largely unknown.

In a new interview, Sadie opened up about when she found out she booked the movie, reuniting with director Destin Daniel Cretton and teased she’s keeping all the secrets close. Her co-star Tom Holland, on the other hand, is infamously known for NOT keeping Marvel secrets.

Kate Hudson is opening up about turning down a role in Spider-Man!

The 46-year-old actress was reportedly offered the part of Mary Jane Watson in Sam Raimi‘s 2002 film, but she turned it down, and Kirsten Dunst was eventually cast a month before filming began.
