'Marshals' Cast: Four 'Yellowstone' Actors Returning for New Spinoff Series, 1 Star Might Be Killed Off!

Luke Grimes‘ new television show, which is a Yellowstone spinoff from Taylor Sheridan, has a confirmed cast list!

The series is titled Marshals! It was originally titled Y: Marshals, but underwent a slight title change a few weeks ago. In addition to returning characters from the Yellowstone universe, there will also be some new stars joining the cast as well. However, fans are now suspecting that a major character will be killed off!

Here’s the logline for the series: With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana, where he and his teammates must balance family, duty and the high psychological cost that comes with serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence.

The new series will premiere on CBS on Sunday, March 1 at 8pm and will stream exclusively on Paramount+ as well.

CBS Drops Trailer for 'Marshals,' Lukes Grimes' 'Yellowstone' Spinoff Series!

Luke Grimes is reprising his Yellowstone character Kayce Dutton in the upcoming spinoff series Marshals and CBS has dropped the official trailer!

The new series will premiere on CBS on Sunday, March 1 at 8pm and will stream exclusively on Paramount+.

With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana. Kayce and his teammates – Pete Calvin (Logan Marshall-Green), Belle Skinner (Arielle Kebbel), Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos) and Miles Kittle (Tatanka Means) – must balance the high psychological cost of serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence with their duty to their families, which for Kayce includes his son Tate (Brecken Merrill) and his confidantes Mo (Mo Brings Plenty) and Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) from the Broken Rock reservation.

CBS recently announced a slight title change for the series following the original announcement for the show.

'The Dutton Ranch' Adds 4 New Series Regulars for Beth & Rip 'Yellowstone' Spinoff

The cast for the upcoming The Dutton Ranch just got bigger!

The new series is a spinoff of Yellowstone, centering around Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser‘s Beth and Rip, and four more actors were just announced to be joining the cast in series regular roles.

In the series, per Variety, “Beth Dutton (Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Hauser) are grateful for the peace they sought, fought, and nearly died for with their 7,000-acre Dutton Ranch. With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter becomes the man he’s supposed to be.”

Finn Little is also reprising his role as Carter, with previously announced new additions includeing Annette Bening, Ed Harris and Jai Courtney.

'Yellowstone' TV Show Spinoff Series Casts Ed Harris

Ed Harris is joining the Yellowstone universe.

The 74-year-old actor has joined the Beth and Rip spinoff series, The Dutton Ranch, in one of the leading roles. Deadline reports that he’ll be playing “Everett McKinney, a weathered veteran and veterinarian who treats animals with compassion and understanding, and possesses a good sense of humor.”

The Paramount+ series will follow Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser), reprising their roles from the original series.

Here’s what Deadline wrote about the series: “The Dutton Ranch, home to Beth Dutton (Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Hauser), is a testament to the peace they sought, fought for, and nearly died for, as they’ve come to cherish their 7,000-acre land. With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter (Little) becomes the man he’s supposed to be.”
