'The Odyssey' Tickets for IMAX 70mm Screenings Will Go On Sale This Week, a Full Year in Advance

Tickets to watch Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming movie The Odyssey will be on sale a full year in advance, for select screenings!

The Oscar-winning director’s follow-up film to Oppenheimer will be released in theaters on July 17, 2026.

Universal Pictures will start selling tickets for the movie a full year ahead, beginning on July 17, 2025.

Variety has confirmed that tickets will only be available for IMAX 70mm screenings for now and tickets for other screenings will be available closer to the release date.

Tickets for movie screenings are rarely put on sale this far in advance, but demand for IMAX 70mm screenings is always extremely high, so prepare for these showings to sell out very quickly.

Social media chatter has noted that these screenings will be excluded from AMC A-List reservations, but that has not yet been confirmed.
