CBS Moves 'CIA' TV Show To Mid-Season Amid Showrunner Change, 'Watson' Will Air in Fall 2025 Instead

CBS has made changes to its 2025-26 television schedule.
The upcoming FBI spinoff series CIA is moving to the mid-season, likely with a 2026 release, instead of airing this fall.
The news comes amid a showrunner change for the series. FBI: Most Wanted showrunner David Hudgins was originally set to lead the show, but he has departed the series and has been replaced by Warren Leight, who previously served as showrunner on Law & Order: SVU.
The delay for CIA, which will star Tom Ellis, has caused a big change for the show Watson.

Morris Chestnut‘s new series was originally intended to premiere as a mid-season replacement, but the second season will now air in Fall 2025, according to Deadline.
