Hoda Kotb‘s official Today show replacement has been revealed!

Jenna Bush Hager‘s new co-host is…Sheinelle Jones! The fourth hour of the fan fave morning show, which airs at 10 am, will now be called Today with Jenna & Sheinelle.

After Hoda‘s exit in January of 2025, Jenna had been co-hosting with a slew of guests in the fourth hour, which had been dubbed Today with Jenna & Friends. Sheinelle, who is currently featured in the third hour of the Today show, joined Jenna in September for a co-hosting run.

Today announced that this change will happen on January 12, 2026. Sheinelle will step away from the third hour at that time.

Earlier in the year, Sheinelle took a leave of absence from the show following the death of her husband.

The 43-year-old Today host opened up on Monday’s show (August 11) after watching viral TikToks from Ashley Hicks, the daughter of a former Secret Service agent, who has been sharing stories about growing up under strict watch.

“Listen, Ashley. I, too, couldn’t get away with much because I was followed by men with fanny packs that were concealing things,” Jenna joked on air.

Jenna Bush Hager is weighing in on Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez‘s wedding.

On the Thursday episode (June 26) of Today with Jenna & Friends, she and her guest co-host, Maria Shriver, addressed the duo’s star-studded nuptials in Venice, Italy.

Jenna noted that they weren’t invited to the wedding, but that they “shouldn’t feel bad” about not making it on the guest list to the “very exclusive” event.

And although she feels all the A-list stars will “have fun,” she wouldn’t if she were there, per People.
