Christina Ricci is getting real about the downsides of fame.
The 45-year-old actress, who rose to fame at the age of 11 in 1991 by playing Wednesday in The Adams Family movie, opened up about the negative effects of receiving unwanted attention from a young age.
“I did not enjoy that, just because people, they’ll follow you all the way home. And I lived by myself, and that felt very threatening,” she said on a recent episode of the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast, referring to the paparazzi.
However, she also gave a shoutout to a kind business owner who she remembered helping her out.

Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, and Elijah Wood joined tons of their co-stars at the season 3 premiere of their hit showtime series on Thursday night (February 13) held at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles.
Here’s the official logline: “In season three, as summer arrives, the Yellowjackets face a fragile victory — the brutal winter that nearly claimed them is finally behind them, but distrust in leadership and tension within the team jeopardize their chances of being rescued. In the present, long-buried secrets from their pasts begin to surface. As the women fight to keep their lives from unraveling, they must confront a chilling question: who are they really, and what dark truths are they hiding from each other and themselves?”
Season 3 begins streaming with two episodes on Valentine’s Day (February 14) and on demand for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with Showtime plan before its linear premiere on February 16 at 8 p.m. ET. Watch the trailer here!
