The future of No Good Deed is very uncertain.
There are currently no plans to renew the show for a second season at Netflix, Deadline confirmed – but it could, in theory, come back with a new cast.
Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow star in the new Netflix television show, which is “about the highs and lows of searching for a safe, happy home and just how far we’re willing to go to protect ourselves and our loved ones in the process.”
Also starring in the series are Linda Cardellini, O-T Fagbenle, Abbi Jacobson, Denis Leary, Poppy Liu, Teyonah Parris and Luke Wilson.

Matt Bomer is opening up about his new TV series Mid-Century Modern!
The 47-year-old actor joined his co-stars Nathan Lane and Nathan Lee Graham at a screening on Thursday (March 27) at 92NY in New York City.
Earlier in the day, Matt was also seen switching up his look just a little while doing promo in the city, with appearances on The Drew Barrymore Show and The View.
During a Q&A after the series’ LA premiere a couple days before, Matt dished on what it was like returning to comedy after working on many dramatic projects, working with his iconic co-stars, including the late Linda Lavin, and how the show leans into the theme of found family.

The upcoming multi-camera comedy TV series, from the creators of Will & Grace, executive producer Ryan Murphy and director James Burrows, arrives on Hulu with all 10 episodes on March 28.

The actress, who won a Tony award for her performance in Broadway Bound in the ’80s, passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 87. At the time, her rep said she passed “unexpectedly due to complications from recently discovered lung cancer.”

The late actress was to star in the upcoming Hulu comedy Mid-Century Modern, alongside Matt Bomer, Nathan Lane and Nathan Lee Graham.
Linda reportedly had three episodes left to film on the new show, which was picked up to series back in August 2024.
Now, one of the show’s creators, Max Mutchnik, took to social media to share photos and videos from filming this week, where they paid tribute to the late actress. He also revealed how the show will handle her character.
