The stars of Stranger Things are surprising fans!
Over the past several days, theaters across the United States and Canada have been screening the series finale of the hit Netflix series.
At some of the screenings, many of the stars of the show surprised fans by stopping by the theaters to chat with audience members about the final season.

Stranger Things season five introduces the new character Derek Turnbow, played by young newcomer actor Jake Connelly, and there coincidentally is a famous athlete of the same name.
Derrick Turnbow, who spells his first name slightly differently, is a former MLB player who actually is around the same age as the character.

We have our first official look at Stranger Things‘ fifth and final season, from Netflix!
A video was just uploaded teasing what’s to come, including some footage of filming. The video also teased that they’re halfway done with the production on season 5.
Three new stars were also confirmed for the final season. Evil Dead Rise‘s Nell Fisher, Waco: The Aftermath‘s Alex Breaux, and newcomer Jake Connelly have all joined the cast, along with previously announced actress Linda Hamilton.
