Michelle Yeoh is stepping into five roles for one unforgettable performance!

The Oscar-winning actress joined filmmaker Sean Baker and self-portrait founder Han Chong to celebrate their new Residency short film Sandiwara during a special screening at the private members club Living Room in Los Angeles on Thursday (February 19).

The 11-minute film played for more than 200 guests including Kate Moss, Georgie Flores, Alana Gold, Alessandra Ambrosio, Alex Coco, Ally Maki, Aurora James, Barbara Palvin, Chriselle Lim, Dree Hemingway, Dylan Sprouse, Highdee Kuan, Jane Levy, Jason Butler, Lukita Maxwell, Marissa Bode, Marta Pozzan, Samantha Quan, Simon Rex, Tallulah Willis, U Beauty founder Tina Craig, Leenda Dong, and Oliver Muhl.

Sandiwara stars Michelle in five leading roles and is set against the vibrant streets and hawker centers of Malaysia’s Penang (Han’s hometown) and serves as an immersive celebration of womanhood, cultural identity, culinary heritage and the spirit of independent cinema.

The title Sandiwara comes from the Malay and Indonesian word meaning “drama” or “theatrical performance,” and Michelle transforms into five distinct characters: The Hawker, The Vlogger, The Waitress, The Critic and The Singer. The characters interact with one another in emotional scenes that unfold within a dazzling hawker center.

Michelle shared, “Working on this film has been very moving for me. Han Chong, my proud fellow Malaysian, masterminded the whole thing and very skilfully put Sean and I together for the first time. Working with Sean was like getting a master class in filming from a genius. This is why we love cinema, why we love doing what we do, and why I will continue to support these incredible outlets of pure creativity.”

Sandiwara, which was filmed entirely on the iPhone, is now available to stream in full on YouTube.

Honorees Ben Stiller, Hailey Bieber, and Spike Lee posed for photos on the red carpet as they arrived at the 2025 Innovator Awards on Wednesday evening (October 29) held at the MoMA in New York City.

Fellow honorees also in attendance included George Lucas and wife Mellody Hobson along with Dr. Priscilla Chan, who was joined at the event by her husband Mark Zuckerberg.

The stars are giving back!

Kim Kardashian, Ciara, and Keke Palmer joined tons of other stars at the 2025 Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala on Saturday night (February 1) held at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles.

Hosted by Yvonne Orji, the gala handed out $350,000 in grants to Black businesses and their founders. Ciara presented $50,000 to a local business impacted by the L.A. wildfires and Kelly Rowland awarded $250,000 to three Black founders.

On Friday (September 6), Joey King kicked off New York Fashion Week by participating in CFDA and Vogue’s Fashion For Our Future, a non-partisan march in midtown Manhattan.

The event featured more than 1,000 participants from the fashion industry, including the likes of Anna Wintour, Prabal Gurung, Aurora James, Thom Browne, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Zac Posen, Cynthia Rowley, Alexis Williams and Lance LePere. We’ve got photos of all of them and more in the gallery.

Bvlgari is kicking off New York Fashion Week with a star-studded party!

Dakota Johnson, Naomi Campbell, and Olivia Culpo stepped out for the launch party for the new Bvlgari Tubogas jewelry collection on Wednesday night (September 4) held at the Skylight at The Refinery in New York City.

The new jewelry collection, “born from a bold crafting technique pioneered by the Italian Jeweler in the 1940s, were unveiled in the frame of Bvlgari Studio, a hub for co-creation and experimentation that first debuted earlier this year in Seoul. Introduced to nourish the narrative of Bvlgari’s legendary icons, the multidisciplinary platform unleashes unprecedented synergies through the trailblazing visions of contemporary creators.”
