Will Arnett Says He Ditched a 'Very Famous Comedian' from His Podcast for Being a 'F--king Rank A--hole'

Will Arnett says he and his other SmartLess podcast co-hosts Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes once kicked a “very famous comedian” off of their show.

The 55-year-old actor visited The Romesh Ranganathan Show recently and recalled when they had to cut off the unnamed comedian after about 10 minutes. They then thanked him for his time and ditched him.

Will described the troublesome guest as “f–king rank a–hole,” and said that Romesh would be shocked to find out who it was.

Amy Poehler Wins Golden Globes' First Podcast Award, Attends Show with Boyfriend Joel Lovell

Amy Poehler is the winner of the Golden Globes’ first award for podcasts!

The Parks & Recreation actress won the Best Podcast award at the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday (January 11) at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Amy won the award for her Spotify podcast Good Hang. She was joined at the show by her boyfriend Joel Lovell.

Amy‘s ex-husband Will Arnett was also nominated in the category for his podcast SmartLess and he was joined by his co-hosts Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes. He also walked the red carpet with his girlfriend Carolyn Murphy.

“I know that I am new to this game. I have great respect for this form,” Amy said during her speech.

She then joked, “I have great respect for everyone I am nominated with. I am big fans of all of you — except for NPR: just a bunch of celebs phoning it in. Try harder.”
