The Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker walked the red carpet with his star-studded cast at the Chapter 1 premiere on Monday night (June 24) at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles.

Kevin Costner and Sienna Miller make rare red carpet appearances with their respective children at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival premiere of their new film Horizon: An American Saga held at Palais des Festivals on Sunday (May 19) in Cannes, France.

The 69-year-old actor stars in, directed and co-wrote the upcoming movie, with his son Hayes making his acting debut. At the festival, Kevin and Hayes were joined by four of his other children – Lily, Grace, Cayden and Annie.

Sienna was joined at the premiere by her daughter Marlowe Sturridge, as well as her boyfriend Oli Green.

Also in attendance were Kevin and Sienna‘s co-stars Jena Malone, Abbey Lee, Luke Wilson, Isabelle Fuhrman, Ella Hunt, Alejandro Edda, Wasé Chief and Georgia MacPhail.

Jena Malone simultaneously checked an item off her bucket list and faced her “number one fear” this week.

The 38-year-old Hunger Games actress took to social media on Wednesday (July 12) to announce that she’d be making her stand-up comedy debut. In the process, she explained exactly what it meant to her.

“I’ve been in bucket list mode and stand up comedy has been my number one fear for a good long time,” Jena teased on Twitter.

While she said that she “wasn’t gonna tell one yet,” she did decide to announce that she was having her “first real show” at The Federal Bar in North Hollywood that night.

The 38-year-old actress, who played Johanna Mason in the Hunger Games film franchise, got candid in an Instagram post about an experience she had while filming on the set of the hit series.

“This photo was taken right after I wrapped Mocking Jay Part Two and I had to say goodbye to everyone on set. We were shooting in a beautiful estate in the countryside of France and I asked the driver to let me out in this field so I could cry and capture this moment,” she began, captioning a photo of herself.

“Even tho this time in Paris was extremely hard for me , was going thru a bad break up and also was sexually assaulted by someone I had worked with , I was so full of gratitude for this project, the people I became close with and this amazing part I got to play.”

“A swirling mix of emotions im only now just learning to sort thru. I wish it wasn’t tied to such a traumatic event for me but that is the real wildness of life I I guess. How to hold the chaos with the beauty. I’ve worked very hard to heal and learn thru restorative justice , how to make peace with the person who violated me and make peace with myself.”

She continued: “It’s been hard to talk about the Hunger Games and Johanna Mason without feeling the sharpness of this moment in time but I’m ready to move thru it and reclaim the joy and accomplishment I felt. Lots of love to you survivors out there. The process is so slow and non linear. I want to say im here for anyone who needs to talk or vent or open uncommunicated spaces within themselves. Please dm me if you need a safe space to be heard.”

Jena added, “Finding words that feel more right to explore in my telling. Pansexuality. Sapiosexuality. Polyamory. A fuller spectrum of understanding that my story is demanding of me.”

In a new interview with THR, Jena opened up more about sharing her journey with her followers.

“I’ve been thinking about it for a while,” Jena told the trade paper. “The sexual journey is so beautiful. I mean, all of the identity journeys are so cool.”

She added that while she is a “little bit late to the game in being able to have less shame,” she has “been loving the process of learning more about myself and others through different terms that open windows, those windows then turns into doors and then I arrive at a place to find all this cool stuff out there.”

Jena continued, “It’s a part of humanity now to have all these ceremonies of exclamation around coming out and renouncing [an identity] and celebrating that space for yourself. It’s a really sweet, human experience. I love getting to learn more about myself no matter the age or my experience.”
