NBCUniversal is kicking off Emmy Awards season by bringing its stars together in one room!

The entertainment company hosted an Emmy season kick-off luncheon on Friday afternoon (April 11) at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles.

The annual event celebrated the talent behind NBCUniversal’s Emmy-eligible shows. This includes shows and movies on NBC and Peacock, as well as shows that Universal Content Productions has made for other streamers, like Netflix’s A Man on the Inside and Max’s Hacks.

Some of the talent in attendance included Renee Zellweger, Amanda Seyfried, Natasha Lyonne, Tina Fey, Colman Domingo, Aja Naomi King, and AnnaSophia Robb, among others.

Emmy nominations will be announced on July 15 and the ceremony will be hosted on September 14.

The Suits spinoff, Suits L.A., is debuting tonight on NBC and we have the major cast updates!

The original Suits star joined the cast of the upcoming LA spinoff, which is led by Stephen.

Also hitting the carpet were series creator Aaron Korsh, Stephen‘s wife Cassandra Jean, series regulars Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt and Bryan Greenberg with wife Jamie Chung, recurring stars Rachelle Goulding, Azita Ghanizada and Alice Lee, and guest stars Maggie Grace, Matt Letscher and Kevin Weisman with daughter Maya Rose.

Here’s a synopsis: Ted Black (Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while we slowly unravel the events that years ago led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.

Gabriel is set to appear as a guest star, reprising his role as Harvey Specter, in his return to acting since the end of Suits.

Suits LA is set to premiere on Sunday (February 23) on NBC. Check out the trailer here!

On Friday (July 19), NBCUniversal announced that Suits: L.A. – the upcoming legal drama set in the same universe as the original drama series – has been picked up for a series order.

The upcoming series, from Aaron Korsch, the creator and writer of the original series, will star Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, and Bryan Greenberg.
