Meryl Streep & Martin Short Continue Fueling Dating Rumors While Supporting Tom Hanks at New Play!

Meryl Streep and Martin Short have been a rumored coupled for a long time now and they’re continuing to fuel dating rumors with their latest appearance!

The legendary actors and Only Murders in the Building co-stars joined some celeb friends while supporting Tom Hanks at the opening night of his new play on Tuesday (November 18) in New York City.

Meryl, Martin, Steve Martin, and Tom‘s wife Rita Wilson all gathered backstage after the performance of This World of Tomorrow at The Shed.

Tom also walked the red carpet with co-star Kelli O’Hara, who was dressed in Markarian.

Fans have been speculating about Meryl and Martin‘s possible real-life relationship since January 2024 when they were at the Golden Globes. They’ve been spotted together many times over the past couple years!

'Toy Story 5' Teaser Trailer Introduces Greta Lee as New Lilypad Toy

Disney and Pixar have revealed a new teaser trailer for the upcoming movie Toy Story 5, introducing fans to the new character Lilypad.

Greta Lee is voicing Lilypad, a high-tech frog-shaped smart tablet that makes Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs exponentially harder when they have to go head to head with the all-new threat to playtime.

Tom Hanks returns as the ever loyal cowboy Woody, Tim Allen reports for duty as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack saddles up again as the rootin’ tootin’ cowgirl Jessie. Conan O’Brien will also be a part of the voice cast as the toilet training tech toy, Smarty Pants.

Toy Story 5, directed by Andrew Stanton, will be released in theaters on June 19, 2026.

Trump Attacks Tom Hanks as 'Woke,' Praises West Point for Canceling Ceremony to Honor Him

President Donald Trump has found the latest target of his anger: Tom Hanks.

The 79-year-old President of the United States called out the 69-year-old Forrest Gump actor while praising West Point for canceling a ceremony to honor the star.

He was set to receive the Sylvanus Thayer Award on September 25 for his veteran advocacy and portrayals of members of service in his projects, but the West Point Association of Graduates scrapped the ceremony.

Retired Army Col. Mark Bieger, president and CEO of the West Point Association of Graduates, said “this decision allows the Academy to continue its focus on its core mission of preparing cadets to lead, fight, and win as officers in the world’s most lethal force, the United States Army,” via The Washington Post.

Lena Dunham, Megan Stalter, & Will Sharpe Premiere New Netflix Series 'Too Much' in London!

Lena Dunham is stepping out for the premiere of her new Netflix series!

The 39-year-old actress and showrunner joined stars Megan Stalter and Will Sharpe at the premiere of Too Much on Monday (June 23) held at the Barbican Centre in London, England.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Andrew Scott, Michael Zegan, Janicza Bravo, Leo Reich, Daisy Bevan, Adele Exarchopoulos, Dean-Charles Chapman, Rita Wilson with husband Tom Hanks, Prasanna Puwanarajah, Kaori Momoi, and Adwoa Aboah.

Lena‘s husband Luis Felber, Fergie, Jessica Gunning, and Amelia Dimoldenberg were also at the premiere.

Here’s a brief synopsis for the new show: “When a heartbroken New Yorker moves to London hoping for a love story, she falls for an indie musician who’s anything but the typical romantic hero.”

Lena and Luis co-created the series, and Lena writes, directs and executive produces.

Too Much will be available for streaming on Netflix starting on July 10. Watch the trailer here!
