Kristin Scott Thomas is bringing her real-life story to the big screen!

The 65-year-old actress serves as director, writer, and star of the new movie My Mother’s Wedding, which will be released in theaters later this summer.

Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller, and Emily Beecham star in the movie as Kristin‘s three daughters.

Here’s the synopsis: “In this heartfelt and funny story, three sisters (Johansson, Miller, & Beecham) return to their childhood home for a momentous occasion: the third wedding of their twice-widowed mother (Thomas). Over the weekend, the family gathers to celebrate the new marriage, but mother and daughters alike are forced to revisit the past and confront the future, all with help from a colorful group of unexpected wedding guests.”

Gary Oldman leans back in his chair in this first look from his upcoming new series, Slow Horses.

The new show is a six-part series, based on Mike Herron’s novel of the same name, Gary plays Jackson Lamb, an MI5 boss relegated to administrative purgatory in Slough House, where sub-par agents are put out to pasture.

Jack Lowden also stars as a young agent who, after botching a mission, joins Lamb. Tasked with little more than paper-pushing, the jaded boss expects little from his team until they find themselves embroiled in a terrifying plot.

In addition to Gary and Jack, Kristin Scott Thomas, Jonathan Pryce and Olivia Cooke will also star.

Slow Horses will premiere on Apple TV+ on April 1, 2022.

A new film adaptation of the classic novel Rebecca is heading to Netflix later this year and the first look has been released!

Lily James and Armie Hammer star in the new film from director Ben Wheatley. The psychological thriller is based on Daphne du Maurier‘s beloved 1938 gothic novel.

Alfred Hitchcock previously made a film version of Rebecca, which won the Oscar for Best Picture back in 1941.

Here is the synopsis: After a whirlwind romance in Monte Carlo with handsome widower Maxim de Winter (Hammer), a newly married young woman (James) arrives at Manderley, her new husband’s imposing family estate on a windswept English coast. Naive and inexperienced, she begins to settle into the trappings of her new life, but finds herself battling the shadow of Maxim’s first wife, the elegant and urbane Rebecca, whose haunting legacy is kept alive by Manderley’s sinister housekeeper Mrs. Danvers (Kristin Scott Thomas).

Also starring in the movie are Ann Dowd and Sam Riley, among others. Netflix will release the movie on October 21!

Eddie Redmayne is dapper in a suit while flashing a smile alongside his wife Hannah at the Christian Dior: Designer Of Dreams Opening Dinner Gala held at The V&A on Tuesday (January 29) in London, England.
