Alexa Chung and Tom Sturridge are saying goodbye to Venice!

The couple held hands as they headed to the airport to catch a flight out of town on Wednesday afternoon (September 3) in Venice, Italy.

For their flight, the 41-year-old model and fashion influencer wore a sleeveless dress with an image of Elvis Presley on it paired with leopard-print, heeled flip-flops and sunglasses while the 39-year-old The Sandman actor sported a black leather jacket over a denim shirt and navy pants.

Alexa and Tom were in town for the 2025 Venice Film Festival where Tom promoted his new movie The Wizard of The Kremlin alongside co-stars Jude Law, Alicia Vikander, and Jeffrey Wright.

The cast of The Wizard of the Kremlin is looking stylish on the red carpet at the 2025 Venice Film Festival!

The actors walked the red carpet for the premiere of their new movie on Sunday (August 31) in Venice, Italy.

The Wizard of the Kremlin (Le Mage Du Kremlin) is based on the 2022 novel by the same name by Giuliano da Empoli. The movie is directed by Olivier Assayas who also adapted the screenplay for film.

Olivier was joined by the cast of the movie at the premiere. Jude Law, Alicia Vikander, Paul Dano, Tom Sturridge, Will Keen, and Jeffrey Wright were in attendance at the premiere.

The official synopsis for the movie, per the film festival, reads in part: “Russia, early 1990s. Amid post-Soviet chaos, a brilliant young man, Vadim Baranov, charts his path. First an artist, then a reality tv producer, he becomes the spin doctor to a rising KGB agent: Vladimir Putin. At the heart of power, Baranov shapes the new Russia, blurring the boundaries between truth and lies, belief and manipulation.”

Tom Sturridge is back in the spotlight thanks to Netflix debuting the final season of The Sandman and fans are likely looking for more info about his life!

The 39-year-old actor, who plays Dream in the fantasy series, is also known for roles in the series Sweetbitter, plus movies like Being Julia, On the Road, Mary Shelley, and Widow Clicquot.

Netflix is giving fans of The Sandman a first look at season 2!

On Tuesday (June 17), Netflix released a trailer for the second and final season of The Sandman. The new season will consist of 11 episodes and will be split into two volumes. Volume 1 will be the first six episodes and premieres July 3 while volume 2 has the final five episodes of the season and premieres July 24.

A bonus episode that follows Death, played by Kirby Howell-Baptiste, will be released on the streaming service on July 31.

Get ready for the return of The Sandman!

On Thursday (April 17), Netflix debuted the teaser trailer for the second and final season of the Tom Sturridge-led series, which has been split into two separate volumes.

Here’s the synopsis: “After a fateful reunion with his family, Dream of the Endless (Sturridge) must face one impossible decision after another as he attempts to save himself, his kingdom, and the waking world from the epic fallout of his past misdeeds. To make amends, Dream must confront longtime friends and foes, gods, monsters, and mortals. But the path to forgiveness is full of unexpected twists and turns, and true absolution may cost Dream everything. Based on the beloved award-winning DC comic series, the second season of THE SANDMAN will tell Dream’s story arc in full to its thrilling conclusion.”
