Peacock has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming second season of the Ted TV series!

The foul-mouthed teddy bear returns for eight new episodes of the prequel comedy from Seth MacFarlane.

“We’ve made a second season of our show Ted which we are excited to share with you. The episodes represent the hard work of our fellow writers, gifted actors, and talented crew, including the visual effects team who bring the character of Ted so convincingly to life,” Seth shared in a joint statement with co-showrunners, writers and executive producers Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh.

“We hope you enjoy these eight somewhat filthy, hopefully funny heartfelt episodes about a young man, his talking teddy bear, and their highly dysfunctional family,” the trio continued. “On the off-chance the series is not your cup of tea, a great way to get us back is to leave all the episodes playing to completion on multiple devices throughout the house. That’ll show us.”

Euphoria will be returning to HBO in April 2026 and it has been reported that the third (and possibly final season) has wrapped filming, with so many cast changes coming.

HBO originally announced a third season back in early 2022 and it finally began filming in 2025.

Ted is coming back!

The Peacock comedy series is set to return with a second season, after the premiere of Season 1 in January 2024.

The show serves as a prequel to the 2012 movie, as well as its 2015 sequel, and is created and directed by Seth MacFarlane.

Here’s a synopsis: “It’s 1993, and Ted the bear’s moment of fame has passed. He’s living back home with his best friend, John Bennett, and his family. While Ted may be a lousy influence on John, he’s a loyal pal who will go out on a limb for friendship.”
