Noah Centineo faced down danger once again in the second season of his show The Recruit on Netflix. However, he will not be leaping into action again in the near future, at least according to one of his costars.
The show’s second season premiered in late January, and creator Alexi Hawley revealed that he was interested in continuing the show with a third season.
However, on Wednesday (March 5), cast member Colton Dunn said that Netflix had decided to cancel the series.
Noah Centineo‘s The Recruit is back with season two in just a few weeks, and Netflix just dropped the show’s first trailer!

Aubrey Plaza, Adam Scott, and Nick Offerman all hit the picket line during the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes on Friday afternoon (August 11) in Los Angeles.
A miniature horse just like Lil Sebastian also joined the Parks & Rec cast on the picket line!
“Lil Sebastian made a rare public appearance to support the #sagaftrastrike #wgastrike alongside some people who understand how amazing he is,” Ben wrote on Instagram along with a photo of him and his former co-stars at the picket line.
The group was seen holding up their “SAG-AFTRA On Strike” and “Writers Guild On Strike” signs to show support for the union, which has yet to reach an agreement with Hollywood studios over fair pay and the use of AI in media.
Netflix has renewed The Recruit for a second season at Netflix.
The series centers around Owen Hendricks (Noah Centineo), a young CIA lawyer whose first week on the job turns upside down when he discovers a threatening letter by former asset Max Meladze (Laura Haddock), who plans to expose the agency unless they exonerate her of a serious crime. Owen quickly becomes entangled in a dangerous and often absurd world of power politics and mischievous players, as he travels the world in hopes of completing his assignment and making a mark at the CIA.
“I know I speak for our entire cast and executive team at eOne and Netflix when I say that we are thrilled to be returning to The Recruit for a second season. I’m looking forward to seeing what Alexi Hawley has in store for us all,” Noah shared with Tudum.com.
Executive producer Alexi Hawley was also on hand for the premiere.
The series finds Noah playing Owen Hendricks, a new recruit to the CIA who faces some unexpected twists and turns at work that put him in the line of duty.
