The sixth day of the Sean “Diddy” Combs sex trafficking trial has begun.
On Monday morning (May 19), Dawn Richard of Danity Kane, the band Diddy put together on Making the Band, as well as being a member of his short-lived project Diddy – Dirty Money, returned to the witness stand after first appearing Friday (May 16).
Dawn filed a lawsuit against Diddy in 2024, accusing him of groping, assaulting and imprisoning her. She also claims in the lawsuit she witnessed him beat his ex, Cassie.
Diddy was arrested in 2024 for alleged sex trafficking, prostitution, racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, as well as transportation to engage in prostitution.
He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Dawn Richard is expected to testify next in the Sean “Diddy” Combs trial.
The 41-year-old singer, who was part of Diddy‘s Making the Band-created group Danity Kane and side project Diddy – Dirty Money, is expected to testify on Friday (May 16).
Dawn will testify once lawyers finish questioning his ex, star witness Cassie, prosecutor Maurene Comey said, via NBC News.

Jury selection is now underway in the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The search for jurors continued throughout the week in Manhattan’s federal court, where potential jurors were asked if they recognized several celebrities from a list of 190 names, per Variety.
While some of the names on the list presented to potential jurors were more expected based on their previously relationships to Diddy, others were more surprising, and it’s unclear how or if other stars will actually be mentioned in the ongoing case.
The trial is expected to last at least eight weeks. Jury selection will take place until May 12, which is when opening arguments will likely happen.
Diddy is facing five counts, including one for racketeering, two for sex trafficking and two for transportation to engage in prostitution. If he is convicted on any or all counts, Diddy could face life in prison.

Danity Kane‘s Dawn Richard filed a new suit, claiming the producer belittled, terrorized and sexually abused her, according to TMZ.
