'And Just Like That...' to End After 3 Seasons on HBO Max, Showrunner Releases Statement

And Just Like That… the show is over.

HBO Max‘s Sex and the City sequel series was just announced to be coming to an end after the current third season wraps up on the streamer, according to Deadline.

The series will air a two-part finale, wrapping the 12-episode season. Showrunner Michael Patrick King reportedly informed the cast on Thursday (July 31), and has now released a statement to the press.

The stars of the Sex & the City sequel series are hitting the red carpet!

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon attended the photo call for season three of And Just Like That… on Wednesday evening (May 21) held at Crane Club in New York City.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Mario Cantone, Nicole Ari Parker, Sarita Choudhury, John Corbett with wife Bo Derek, Dolly Wells, Sebastiano Pigazzi, Christopher Jackson, Jonathan Cake, Mariah Strongin, Elijah Jacob, Jackie Hoffman, Armin Amiri, and Mehcad Brooks.

SJP also had the support of husband Matthew Broderick at the event.

Season 3 – which follows the ladies as they are they are “navigating the complicated reality of life, love, sex, and friendship in their 50s in New York City” – premieres on HBO Max on May 29. Watch the trailer here!

Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte are back in the trailer for And Just Like That season three!

Sarah Jessica Parker and her co-stars, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, along with Sarita Choudhury and Nicole Ari Parker, lead the new season – and it looks to have lots of twists and turns, based on the trailer. While the logline doesn’t reveal much, apart from they are “navigating the complicated reality of life, love, sex, and friendship in their 50s in New York City,” the trailer gives away some details.

It looks like Carrie is plugging along trying to make things work long distance with Aidan (John Corbett), while also having some chemistry with her new neighbor.

Charlotte’s daughter Lily is seen making out with a new man – a hot ballet dancer.

Miranda and Seema look so be working the single scene in NYC, while Lisa Todd Wexley has a little work crush on a hottie (played by Mehcad Brooks).
