Jason Bateman at the support of his Ozark co-star Laura Linney at the premiere of his new Netflix series Black Rabbit on Tuesday night (September 16) in New York City.

Also stepping out to support Jason, 56, at the premiere was his wife Amanda Anka.

Dylan O’Brien is making a New York Fashion Week appearance!

The 34-year-old actor walked the runway during the Rachel Antonoff x Susan Alexandra “Best in Show” event on Wednesday (September 10) in New York City.

The dogs featured in the runway show were all up for adoption from NYC’s Animal Haven.

Set against the backdrop of New York City’s high-pressure nightlife scene, Black Rabbit centers around two brothers who learn just how far family, and the pursuit of success, can push them to the edge. Jake Friedkin (Law) is the charismatic owner of The Black Rabbit, a restaurant and VIP lounge, poised to become the hottest spot in New York. Netflix’s Black Rabbit is almost here!

The new limited series stars Jude Law and Jason Bateman as brothers at the center of New York City’s nightlife scene, and it features an incredible supporting cast.

Here’s the synopsis: “Jake Friedkin (Law) is the charismatic owner of Black Rabbit, a restaurant and VIP lounge, poised to become the hottest spot in New York. But when his brother, Vince (Bateman), returns to the business unexpectedly, trouble soon follows; opening the door to old traumas and new dangers that threaten to bring down everything they’ve built. Black Rabbit is a propulsive thrill ride and character examination about the way an unbreakable bond between two brothers can shatter their world and everything in its orbit.”

The series will debut on Netflix on September 18.

Alex Edelman has made his Broadway debut!

The 34-year-old stand-up comedian celebrated the opening of his one-man play Just For Us on Monday night (June 26) at the Hudson Theatre in New York City.

Alex got support from many celebs at the opening night following acclaimed international runs of the show in London, Edinburgh, Melbourne, Boston, and Washington D.C., as well as a six-time extended off-Broadway engagement across three venues in NYC.

Celebs in attendance at the opening included Rachel Brosnahan and husband Jason Ralph, Busy Philipps, Kathryn Gallagher, playwright Jeremy O. Harris, Mike Birbiglia, Kevin Cahoon, Alysia Reiner, Billy Eichner, Laura Benanti, Michael Urie, Miriam Silverman, Helene Yorke, Regina Spektor, Krysta Rodriguez, Micaela Diamond, Gus Birney, and Louisa Jacobson.

The play “is an exploration of identity and our collective capacity for empathy. In the wake of a string of anti-Semitic rhetoric pointed in his direction online, standup comic Edelman decides to go straight to the source; specifically, Queens, where he covertly attends a meeting of White Nationalists and comes face-to-face with the people behind the keyboards. What happens next forms the backbone of the shockingly relevant, utterly hilarious, and only moderately perspirant stories.”

Just For Us is running through August 19.

The official opening night of Broadway’s The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window was last week to make the eligibility cut-off for the 2023 Tony Awards, but a gala opening was just held to celebrate in an even bigger way!

Oscar Isaac and Rachel Brosnahan glammed up for their red carpet appearance at the James Earl Jones Theater on Thursday night (May 4) in New York City.

Oscar, who is making his Broadway debut in the play, was joined by wife Elvira Lind. Also spotted on the carpet were co-stars Gus Birney and Miriam Silverman, as well as producer Jeremy O. Harris.

The classic play by Lorraine Hansberry invites us into Greenwich Village in the ’60s, crafting a razor-sharp portrait of a diverse group of friends whose progressive dreams can’t quite match reality. At the center are Sidney and Iris Brustein, fighting to see if their marriage—with all its crackling wit, passion, and petty cruelty—can survive Sidney’s ideals.

Lisa Kudrow is showing support to two of her former co-stars!

Courteney Cox and Mira Sorvino both welcomed Lisa to the red carpet at the premiere of their new Starz series Shining Vale on Monday (February 28) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Lisa worked with Courtney in the beloved series Friends and with Mira in the cult classic movie Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. They reunited to present together at the SAG Awards this weekend!

Also in attendance at the premiere were Shining Vale stars Greg Kinnear, Judith Light, Merrin Dungey, Rob Morrow, Gus Birney, Dylan Gage, and Alysia Reiner.

The new series is a horror comedy about a dysfunctional family that moves from the city to a small town into a house in which terrible atrocities have taken place. But no one seems to notice except for Pat (Cox), who’s convinced she’s either depressed or possessed – turns out, the symptoms are exactly the same. The premiere airs on March 6!
