Jude Law and Jason Bateman star in the debut trailer for their new limited series, Black Rabbit.

Set against the backdrop of New York City’s high-pressure nightlife scene, Black Rabbit centers around two brothers who learn just how far family, and the pursuit of success, can push them to the edge. Jake Friedkin (Law) is the charismatic owner of The Black Rabbit, a restaurant and VIP lounge, poised to become the hottest spot in New York. But when his brother, Vince (Bateman), returns to the business unexpectedly, trouble soon follows; opening the door to old traumas and new dangers that threaten to bring down everything they’ve built. Black Rabbit is a propulsive thrill ride and character examination about the way an unbreakable bond between two brothers can shatter their world and everything in its orbit.

Netflix’s Black Rabbit is almost here!

The new limited series stars Jude Law and Jason Bateman as brothers at the center of New York City’s nightlife scene, and it features an incredible supporting cast.

Here’s the synopsis: “Jake Friedkin (Law) is the charismatic owner of Black Rabbit, a restaurant and VIP lounge, poised to become the hottest spot in New York. But when his brother, Vince (Bateman), returns to the business unexpectedly, trouble soon follows; opening the door to old traumas and new dangers that threaten to bring down everything they’ve built. Black Rabbit is a propulsive thrill ride and character examination about the way an unbreakable bond between two brothers can shatter their world and everything in its orbit.”

The series will debut on Netflix on September 18.

Here’s a plot summary: “A tour stop in Kid’s (Hart) hometown of Philadelphia becomes a matter of life and death for one of the world’s most famous comedians when the consequences of a lost evening with his wayward older brother (Snipes) threaten to destroy everything he’s built.”

Donald Glover flashes a smile as he speaks onstage at his Atlanta panel discussion held during the FX portion of the 2016 Summer TCA Tour at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday (August 9) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 32-year-old actor-writer-executive producer was joined at the event by his co-stars Brian Tyree Henry, Lakeith Stanfield and Zazie Beetz, as well as writer/executive producer Paul Simms and producer/director Hiro Murai.

“The thesis with this show was to show people what it’s like to be black, and you can’t write that down. You have to feel it,” Donald expressed (via IndieWire). “The tonal aspect was really important to me.”

Also in attendance at the 2016 Summer TCA Tour were Denis Leary, John Corbett, Elizabeth Gillies, Elaine Hendrix, Robert Kelly and John Ales for their show Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, as well as Natalie Brown, Kevin Durand, Richard Sammel and Miguel Gomez for The Strain.
