Queen Camilla is getting candid for the first time about an awful experience in her past.
The 78-year-old royal shared her story of assault on BBC Radio 4′s Today on Wednesday (December 31).
During the appearance, she spoke with the BBC’s John Hunt, whose wife Carol and daughters Hannah and Louise were tragically murdered in a crossbow and knife attack last July.

The British royal family are stepping out to celebrate Christmas!
The royals were seen uniting on Thursday morning (December 25) for their annual Christmas Day walk for Christmas Morning Service at Sandringham Church in Sandringham, Norfolk.
Prince William and Princess Catherine were joined by their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – alongside King Charles, Queen Camilla and many more.
Also in attendance were Princess Anne and husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, Zara Tindall with husband Mike and daughters Mia and Lena, siblings James Mountbatten-Windsor, Earl of Wessex, and Lady Louise Windsor, and David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowden, with children Charles Armstrong-Jones and Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones.
While their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was stripped of his titles and has stepped away from the royal family, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie joined the annual outing, alongside their respective husbands, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Jack Brooksbank.

The British royal family has amassed quite the wealth over the years.
Currently led by King Charles, the family has been part of the Monarchy for many generations, with his late mother Queen Elizabeth II being the longest serving British monarch, reigning for 70 years.

Kate Middleton is dressed in the biggest tiara she’s ever worn for the German state banquet!
The 43-year-old Princess of Wales wore Queen Victoria’s Oriental Circlet Tiara while attending the event with husband Prince William on Wednesday (December 3) at Windsor Castle in Windsor, England.
King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted the banquet for the German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Budenbender, on day one of their state visit to the UK.
Kate looked stunning in a blue Jenny Packham dress along with the Royal Family Order and the Royal Victorian Order sash and star. She even wore the late Queen Elizabeth‘s earrings!
The tiara that Kate wore was made in the 1800s for Queen Victoria and it features 2,600 diamonds. This is the first time the tiara has been worn in public since Queen Elizabeth wore it in 2005 during a trip to Malta.
Kate got attention for a double dip curtsy that she did earlier that day.

The British Royal Family is marking Remembrance Sunday.
Princess Catherine (aka Kate Middleton) joined Queen Camilla up on the balcony of the Foreign Office building as they watched the ceremony on Sunday (November 9) in London, England.
Down on the ground, King Charles led the procession as he marched with Prince William, Prince Edward, 10,000 veterans, politicians, and the public. King Charles, 76, then placed a wreath during the solemn ceremony held at the Cenotaph on Whitehall and lead a two-minute moment of silence.
Remembrance Sunday is held to remember the service and sacrifice of all those who have died in wars and conflicts.
The night before, Prince George joined Kate at the Royal British Legion’s annual Festival of Remembrance.

Prince George is making his first appearance at the Royal British Legion’s annual Festival of Remembrance!
The 12-year-old Prince of Wales joined mom Princess Catherine (aka Kate Middleton) at the 2025 Festival of Remembrance on Saturday evening (November 8) held at Royal Albert Hall in London, England.
For the event, George looked sharp in a black suit while the 43-year-old Princess of Wales coordinated in a black and white dress.
Other members of the Royal Family in attendance included King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.
The event was a musical tribute to the Armed Forces of Britain and the Commonwealth. All of the members of the Royal Family wore a poppy brooch, which has served as a symbol of remembrance since World War I.
Earlier in the week, Prince William stepped out in Brazil for his 2025 Earthshot Prize Awards where he was joined two singers on the green carpet.
