An awkward moment has gone viral from the royal family’s Christmas walkabout outside the St Mary Magdalene Church on their Norfolk estate, involving Prince George, 12, and a spectator.

A video from TikTok saw Prince William, who is George‘s dad, call over his children to meet a man he called “John.”

Prince William & Princess Catherine Join King Charles & More British Royal Family Members For Christmas Morning Walk

The British royal family are stepping out to celebrate Christmas!

The royals were seen uniting on Thursday morning (December 25) for their annual Christmas Day walk for Christmas Morning Service at Sandringham Church in Sandringham, Norfolk.

Prince William and Princess Catherine were joined by their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – alongside King Charles, Queen Camilla and many more.

Also in attendance were Princess Anne and husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, Zara Tindall with husband Mike and daughters Mia and Lena, siblings James Mountbatten-Windsor, Earl of Wessex, and Lady Louise Windsor, and David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowden, with children Charles Armstrong-Jones and Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones.

While their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was stripped of his titles and has stepped away from the royal family, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie joined the annual outing, alongside their respective husbands, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Jack Brooksbank.

The British royal family has amassed quite the wealth over the years.

Currently led by King Charles, the family has been part of the Monarchy for many generations, with his late mother Queen Elizabeth II being the longest serving British monarch, reigning for 70 years.

Many of the family members were born into their titles, while some married into the royal family, and people are naturally very curious to know all there is to know about the royals and their lavish lifestyles, from where they live, what they wear and so much more!

Kate Middleton, Prince William, & Their 3 Kids Attend Royal Christmas Carol Service Alongside Some Famous Faces!

The royal family is ringing in the holiday season at the Together at Christmas Carol Service hosted by Princess Catherine, aka Kate Middleton!

Kate and her husband Prince William were joined by all three kids – Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 – at the service on Friday (December 5) at Westminster Abbey in London, England.

“The time, care and compassion you give, often quietly and unspoken, and without any expectation or recognition, make an extraordinary difference to the lives of others,” Catherine wrote in a letter ahead of the service (via BBC). This marks her fifth annual service.

Some of the famous faces in attendance at the event included Kate Winslet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Joe Locke, Hannah Waddingham, and Eugene Levy.

Prince George Joins Mom Kate Middleton & More Royal Family Members at Festival of Remembrance 2025

Prince George is making his first appearance at the Royal British Legion’s annual Festival of Remembrance!

The 12-year-old Prince of Wales joined mom Princess Catherine (aka Kate Middleton) at the 2025 Festival of Remembrance on Saturday evening (November 8) held at Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

For the event, George looked sharp in a black suit while the 43-year-old Princess of Wales coordinated in a black and white dress.

Other members of the Royal Family in attendance included King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.

The event was a musical tribute to the Armed Forces of Britain and the Commonwealth. All of the members of the Royal Family wore a poppy brooch, which has served as a symbol of remembrance since World War I.

Earlier in the week, Prince William stepped out in Brazil for his 2025 Earthshot Prize Awards where he was joined two singers on the green carpet.
