The countdown to the holiday season has become!

Earlier this week, Lionsgate debuted the trailer for the upcoming Christmas holiday comedy movie The Best Christmas Pageant Ever was released starring Judy Greer, Pete Holmes, Molly Belle Wright, and Lauren Graham.

Here’s the synopsis: “The Herdmans are absolutely the worst kids in the history of the world. They lie, they steal, they bully…and now they’ve hijacked the town Christmas pageant. Directed by Dallas Jenkins and based on the international bestseller by Barbara Robinson, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever follows six siblings who sneak into church searching for snacks and walk away with the lead roles in the town pageant. Grace (Greer) is directing the performance for the very first time; she and her daughter Beth (Wright) and husband Bob (Holmes) are in over their heads, especially against a town that wants them to kick the Herdmans out. But the play’s mischievous stars might unwittingly teach a community the true meaning of Christmas.”

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever hits theaters on November 8.

Judy Greer will be bringing us the Christmas spirit later this year in the upcoming movie The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

The movie is an adaptation of the beloved book and centers on the Herdmans – absolutely the worst kids in the history of the world. But this Christmas, they’re taking over their local church Pageant – and they just might unwittingly teach a shocked community the true meaning of Christmas.

Judy stars in the movie alongside Pete Holmes and Lauren Graham.

“We were so lucky with the cast, and I think that’s what really elevated it. The script was so sweet and funny, of course [director] Dallas [Jenkins] is incredible and has such a vision and so much energy,” Judy told People. “But what really took the movie to the next level for me, the experience making it, is our incredible cast. Everyone had so much to give and was so talented and funny. Additionally, all of the kids were really able to open their hearts and be vulnerable when it was needed. I think that’s what really makes the movie special.”

Dallas Jenkins, the creator, director, co-writer, and executive producer of the hit series The Chosen, is directing the upcoming movie.

The debut trailer for Home Sweet Home Alone, the new film reimagining of the Home Alone franchise, has just debuted online!

Here’s a synopsis: Max Mercer is a mischievous and resourceful young boy who has been left behind while his family is in Japan for the holidays. So when a married couple attempting to retrieve a priceless heirloom set their sights on the Mercer family’s home, it is up to Max to protect it from the trespassers…and he will do whatever it takes to keep them out. Hilarious hijinks of epic proportions ensue, but despite the absolute chaos, Max comes to realize that there really is no place like home sweet home.

The film is set to debut on Disney+ on November 12, 2021.

Archie Yates is starring, with Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney, Aisling Bea, Kenan Thompson, Tim Simons, Pete Holmes, Devin Ratray, Ally Maki, and Chris Parnell.

The voice cast includes stars like Lake Bell, Hannibal Buress, Dana Carvey, Harrison Ford, Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, Pete Holmes, Ellie Kemper, Nick Kroll, Bobby Moynihan, Patton Oswalt, Jenny Slate, Eric Stonestreet, and many more.

The movie will follow 2016’s blockbuster about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day.

Jamie Dornan made an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Thursday (February 1) and dished all about his early modeling days before he landed big roles like Christian Grey in Fifty Shades Freed.

The 35-year-old revealed that the reason his modelling career never involved catwalk work was because he didn’t have a walk suitable for the runway.

“There’s a few reasons, I didn’t want to do it. It didn’t appeal to me at all, it seemed like quite a lot of work,” Jamie told James while sitting alongside fellow guest Pete Holmes. “I mean also, above all else, I did go out once to Fashion Week in Milan, stayed at this horrendous hotel called the Hotel Lucky.”

“There’s all these other guy models, it’s a disgusting scene,” Jamie continued.” I went for some castings, but I have a really unfortunate walk that is very very bouncy.”

Judd Apatow is all smiles as he poses alongside his youngest daughter Iris Apatow at the premiere of his new series Crashing held at Avalon on Wednesday (February 15) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 49-year-old producer-writer-director was joined at the event by the stars of the show Pete Holmes, T.J. Miller, Artie Lange, George Basil, as well as Kristen Schaal, Frankie Alvarez, Natalie Morales, Gina Gershon, T.J.‘s fiance Kate Gorney and Pete‘s fiance Valerie Chaney, who all came out to show their support.

Crashing follows the story of a New York comic (Holmes) who is forced to make a new start for himself after his wife leaves him – Watch the official trailer below!
