Jingle All the Way is a Christmas classic.

The celebrity-filled holiday comedy centers around Howard Langston, a salesman for a mattress company, who is constantly kept busy at his job, disappointing his son. After he misses his son’s karate exposition, Howard vows to make it up to him by buying an action figure of his son’s favorite television hero for Christmas. Unfortunately for Howard, it is Christmas Eve, and every store is sold out of Turbo Man. Now, Howard must travel all over town and compete with everybody else to find a Turbo Man action figure.

Jake Lloyd, the child actor who famously brought a young Darth Vader to life in Star Wars Episode I – The Phantom Menace, is recovering after suffering what his mother described as “a full-blown psychotic break.”

It’s been 25 years since Jake played Anakin Skywalker in the 1999 Star Wars movie. He was replaced by Hayden Christensen after the character aged up between the first and second movies.

In the years since landing the breakout role, Jake has largely stayed out of the spotlight and left acting behind.

In a recent interview, his mom Lisa opened up about how he was doing, his relationship with Star Wars and his personal struggles.

Former child actor Jake Lloyd was arrested this weekend following a high-speed car chase and people all over social media are making podracing jokes now.

The 26-year-old actor, who played the role of young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, famously raced pods in the movie.

Jake was arrested this weekend in Charleston, South Carolina after cops chased him throughout multiple counties. The chase ended when Jake‘s car veered off the road and crashed through a fence into a wooded area.

Jake Lloyd, who is best known for playing the role of a young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, was arrested this weekend in Charleston, South Carolina after a high speed car chase.

The 26-year-old former actor was pursued by cops for miles and even into another county after he was seen passing cars on the double yellow line and driving recklessly, according to TMZ.

Jake eventually lost control of his car and crashed through a fence and into some trees in a wooded area. He was arrested for “reckless driving, failure to stop, resisting arrest and driving without a license.”

Jake is reportedly still in custody as of 11:00am on Sunday morning (June 21).
