Vanessa Hudgens is mourning the death of her beloved dog Darla.

The 37-year-old High School Musical actress took to her Instagram account on Tuesday (February 10) to share the sad news that she had to say goodbye to her pet.

For those who don’t know, Darla was actually rescued by Vanessa‘s ex-boyfriend Austin Butler‘s mom. The former couple adopted the dog when Austin‘s mom passed away in 2014. She has previously told the story about how they welcomed the dog into their family.

The Masked Singer is back in full swing on FOX!

The reality TV singing competition series premiered back in January of 2019, based on a South Korean format, and is currently in its 14th season.

In the series, various celebrities sing songs while wearing elaborate costumes and face-concealing masks hiding their identities, as a panel of celebrity judges and the audience tries to guess who they are throughout the season.

The contestants featured over the years include superstar musicians, actors, politicians, public figures and athletes.

On Saturday (November 29), the 36-year-old High School Musical star announced that she recently gave birth to her and husband Cole Tucker‘s second child.

“Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!!” Vanessa wrote on Instagram along with a photo of herself laying in a hospital bed while holding the 29-year-old former pro baseball player’s hand.
