Josh Gad will star in the upcoming movie Gerron’s Last Film, which follows real-life actor Kurt Gerron in the Holocaust.

The Tony-nominated actor will team up with acclaimed director Simon Curtis to bring the true story to the big screen.

Kurt Gerron was a famous Jewish actor in pre-Nazi Germany and refused to leave the country when it was invaded. After being sent to the Theresienstadt Getto, he was recognized by the camp commander and ordered to direct a propaganda film about the camp to make it appear “luxurious.”

Max Greenfield hit the ornament room alongside Isabela Merced, Tia Mowry and Jurnee Smollett, while a mini Top Gun reunion happened in the scent room with Jay Ellis and Gregory Tarzan Davis picking out fragrances.

Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Josh Gad are reportedly going to earn massive paydays for their work in two more Frozen movies.

After all earning $15 million each for Frozen 2, including their upfront fees and bonuses, they will be getting major increases for the next films.

Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed back in November 2023 that the fourth Frozen movie was in the works at the same time as the third movie. Now, we’ve learned that the three main stars are going to earn some of the biggest paydays of all time for an animated role.

Spaceballs 2 is in the works!

Amazon MGM Studios has officially greenlit the sequel to the Mel Brooks 1987 comedy, which is expected to hit theaters in 2027.

Production is now underway.

Plot details for the Josh Greenbaum-directed sequel are being kept under “lock, key, and an industrial-strength Schwartz shield.”

The movie is described as “A Non-Prequel Non-Reboot Sequel Part Two but with Reboot Elements Franchise Expansion Film.”

The studio revealed the stars who are expected to return, and which actors are joining the sequel.

Josh Gad is reacting to the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel‘s late-night show.

On Wednesday (September 17), ABC pulled Jimmy Kimmel Live! off the air indefinitely following comments the 57-year-old late-night host made in the wake of right-wing podcaster Charlie Kirk‘s death.

Two days after the shocking news, Josh, 44, who famously voices the Frozen character Olaf, slammed Disney for their actions.

The 44-year-old actor is set to direct a biopic about late Saturday Night Live legend Chris Farley.

It was previously announced that Paul Walter Hauser would be playing Chris in the movie. Updates on the film’s progress have been sparse, but Josh says that it’s still on the way!

John Stamos will be appearing as King Herod in this weekend’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl, replacing Josh Gad at the last minute.

Josh had to drop out of the show after contracting COVID, leaving the production just hours to find a replacement before the first performance on Friday night!

John stepped off a plane and went right into rehearsals with less than 24 hours to bring it all together, he revealed on Instagram.
