Hacks stars Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder have arrived!

The 74-year-old actress and her 30-year-old co-star were seen on the red carpet at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards! on Sunday (January 4) at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, Calif.

Both are nominated this evening for their work in the HBO Max series. Best of luck to all of the nominees tonight!

Christopher Briney is heading to Hacks!

On Thursday (October 9), the Emmy-winning HBO comedy series announced that the 27-year-old actor, best known for playing Conrad Fisher in The Summer I Turned Pretty, has been cast in the upcoming fifth and final season, which is currently in production.

Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder have started filming the fifth and final season of Hacks!

The Emmy-winning actresses filmed scenes running through the streets with co-stars Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, and Mark Indelicato on Thursday (September 25) in New York City.

The actors were all seen carrying large bouquets of flowers, shopping bags, fruit baskets, and a huge bottle of wine as they filmed and at one point, Jean – seemingly in character as Deborah Vance – screamed at a woman who nearly ran them down with cart.

While attending the 2025 Emmy Awards earlier this month, Hannah confirmed that the fifth season of Hacks will also be show’s last.

“It’s nice to do something as many times as it should be done [and] not over stay your welcome. Rip it and do it and laugh and cry,” Hannah said while admitting filming the fifth and final season will be “bittersweet.”

In an interview from earlier this year, Paul, who also co-created the show, revealed the A-list star that turned down a guest role on the show three times.

Hacks is coming to an end.

While walking the red carpet at the 2025 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 14), star Hannah Einbinder confirmed that the hit HBO comedy series will be ending after the forthcoming fifth season, which begins filming later this month.

The stars of Hacks have arrived!

Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder both looked gorgeous as they walked the red carpet at the 2025 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 14) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Mark Indelicato, Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, and Rose Abdoo along with co-creators Lucia Aniello and Jen Statsky.

Jean and Hannah are both nominated tonight for their roles in Hacks while the show is nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series.

The Emmys ceremony this year is hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze and the show will air live on CBS and Paramount+ beginning at 8pm ET / 5pm PT. Make sure to check out the full list of nominations, led by Apple TV+’s Severance with 27 nods. There were also some surprising snubs this year with many major stars failing to get nominations.

FYI: Jean is wearing a Christian Siriano gown, Stuart Weitzman shoes, and Rahaminov jewels while carrying a Tyler Ellis clutch. Hannah is wearing Louis Vuitton.

The first night of the 2025 Creative Arts Emmy Awards has dished out the first set of Emmys this year!

The two-night event the week before the main Emmys show hands out awards for technical categories, as well as guest acting and more, with the first night focused on scripted programming.

Among the winners of the night included AppleTV+ series The Studio, which picked up the most, as well as Beyoncé finally winning an Emmy after eight past nominations. She and her team won Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Programming for Beyonce Bowl.

Julie Andrews also finally picked up a win for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for her work as the voice of Lady Whistledown on Bridgerton, after three past nominations. This is her third Emmys win overall.
