The 60-year-old actress was on hand to present the And Just Like That… creator with the Vito Russo Award at the event.

The Vito Russo Award is presented “to an LGBTQ media professional who has made a significant difference in accelerating LGBTQ acceptance.”

Other stars in attendance included Jessica Vosk, who performed at the gala, with fiancé Dave Godar, RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Peppermint, Kandy Muse, Aja and Dahlia Sin, Isis King, Cheyenne Jackson, Zaya Wade, Bridget Everett, Ross Mathews and husband Wellinthon García-Mathews, Real Housewives of New York‘s Racquel Chevremont and Dan Amboyer.

Earlier in the week, SJP joined her husband Matthew Broderick at the New York City Ballet’s 2025 Fall Fashion Gala.

And Just Like That has come to an end and it’s time to say goodbye to Sarah Jessica Parker‘s beloved character Carrie Bradshaw.

We were first introduced to Carrie and her friends in the HBO series Sex and the City, which ran for six seasons from 1998 to 2004. She returned in two feature films that were released in theaters in 2008 and 2010. The revival series And Just Like That then premiered in late 2021 and ran for three seasons on the streaming service HBO Max.

Series creator and showrunner Michael Patrick King explained that he didn’t intend on ending the show when he began writing the third season, but as time went by in the writers room, it became evident that the ending was near.

King told Variety, “Well, I always like the fact that you wish you were getting more. The idea of leaving a party while it’s still happening is the most elegant thing you can say for a TV series. I never wanted to be like, Oh, that storyline again — which is the one rule we’ve had in the writing room: Don’t repeat. And we’ve done a lot.”

“It’s an odd decision to make, but I feel like it’s the right decision for the world that we created,” he said in an interview with TheWrap.

The cast of Max’s Sex and the City spinoff And Just Like That… is continuing their promo in Paris!

The show’s stars, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Nicole Ari Parker and Sarita Choudhury, attended a premiere in the City of Light on Wednesday (May 28) and another photo call on Thursday (May 29).

The stars of And Just Like That… – Cynthia Nixon, Nicole Ari Parker, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Sarita Choudhury – step out for a photo call to promote the upcoming third season at CESE on Wednesday (May 28) in Paris, France.

With the perfect backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, the ladies were joined by a special guest – Venus Williams – who posed for photos with the group.

It’s currently unclear why Venus was in attendance at the Paris photo call, but some believe she could be a guest star in the upcoming new season!

Also in attendance was series creator, writer and executive producer Michael Patrick King.

The third season of And Just Like That… is set to debut on Max THIS Thursday (May 29), with the 12-episode season airing new episodes on the streamer weekly through August 14th.
