The Country Music Association is airing its annual hour-long holiday TV special on Tuesday, December 3 at on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
The special was filmed in Nashville, Tenn., featuring a bunch of performers across genres from gospel to country pop.
The special will first air on ABC then will be available to stream the next day on Hulu or Disney+.
For the second year in a row, the special will be hosted by country stars Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood.
The two are set to perform Amy‘s “Sing Your Praise to the Lord” and Tom Stacks‘ “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” together.
They will also have solo performances, with Amy singing “Tennessee Christmas” and Trisha performing a “fun and festive Christmas medley,” via the Country Music Association.

- Cody Johnson will perform “White Christmas” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”
- Ashley McBryde and Brittney Spencer will perform “Man with the Bag”
- Jon Pardi will perform his song “400 Horsepower Sleigh”
- CeCe Winans will perform “Joy to the World”
King & Country & Fathom have extended their theatrical run of their movie – “A Drummer Boy Christmas Live: The Cinematic Concert Experience” through December 12th. Amy released new music for the first time in a decade earlier this year, following the 2022 bicycle accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury.
Along with airing on December 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, the special streams the next day on Hulu and Disney+.
The country music world is coming together to celebrate the holidays on the 2022 edition of CMA Country Christmas, which is airing tonight on ABC.
The special will air at 9/8c on on Thursday (December 8) and it will be available the next day on Hulu and Disney+.
ABC notes that CMA Country Christmas “rings in the holiday season annually with a show full of festive classics and one-of-a-kind musical performances.” The event was filmed in Nashville and it airs each holiday season on the network.
Country singer Carly Pearce is hosting the show and she’ll also perform.

This year, the special was pre-taped back in September of 2020 and it was filmed for the first time ever without a live studio audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The entertaining holiday special is hosted by country star Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins.
