Some of Australia’s biggest stars hit the red carpet for the 2026 AACTA Awards!

The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards ceremony, which celebrate the best of Australian films and television, was held on Friday (February 6) at Home of the Arts in Gold Coast, Australia.

Yerin Ha stepped out for her first appearance since the debut of her new Bridgerton season on Netflix.

Sarah Snook, who was nominated for Audience Choice Award for Favourite Australian Actress, reunited with her Succession dad Brian Cox.

Joseph Zada, who will soon star in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, stepped out amid his nomination for Audience Choice Award for Favourite Australian Actor.

More stars in attendance included Joel Edgerton with partner Christine Centenera, Baz Luhrmann and wife Catherine Martin, Phoebe Tonkin, Thomas Cocquerel, Brenton Thwaites and partner Chloe Pacey, Dacre Montgomery and girlfriend Liv Pollock, Aisha Dee, Celeste Barber, Alycia Debnam Carey, Shabana Azeez, Callan McAuliffe, and Tim Robards.

The horror film Bring Her Back was the big winner of the night, taking home awards for Best Film, Best Direction, Best Lead Actress for Sally Hawkins, and six more technical awards.

The trailer for Daisy Ridley‘s upcoming movie has been released!

The 33-year-old actress stars in the new zombie survival thriller We Bury the Dead alongside Brenton Thwaites, Mark Coles Smith, and Matt Whelan.

Here’s the synopsis: “After a catastrophic military disaster, the dead don’t just rise – they hunt. The military insists they are harmless and slow-moving, offering hope to grieving families. But when Ava (Ridley) enters a quarantine zone searching for her missing husband, she uncovers the horrifying truth: the undead are growing more violent, more relentless, and more dangerous with every passing hour.”

The 2024 GQ Men of the Year Awards honored some of the hottest guys in entertainment!

Cooper Koch, Orville Peck, and Sam Worthington were among the stars celebrated at the event on Wednesday (December 4) in Sydney, Australia.

Cooper won the International Actor of the Year Award for his performance in the Netflix series Monsters, Orville won the International Musician of the Year Award, and Sam was honored with the Man of the Year Award.

Some more attendees and honorees at the event included Sam Corlett, Luke Bracey, Keiynan Lonsdale, Felix Mallard, and others.

Brenton Thwaites and his longtime love Chloe Pacey are expanding their family!

The 34-year-old Australian actor took to his Instagram account to share the happy news.

Brenton posted a photo of him and Chloe with his hand placed on her belly. He’s also talking about baby number six already!

The brand new trailer for Titans is finally out!

The series centers on the young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find where they belong.

In season three, circumstances draw our heroes to Gotham City, where they will reunite with old friends and face new threats.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Conor Leslie, Curran Walters and Joshua Orpin with Alan Ritchson, Minka Kelly, and Damaris Lewis.

Savannah Welch and Vincent Kartheiser have joined the series for the upcoming season, with Jay Lycurgo recurring.

The first three episodes of Titans season three will premiere on Thursday, August 12. New episodes will then launch weekly every Thursday through October 21 on HBO Max.

Brenton Thwaites and Skylar Astin are playing World War II soldiers in the new movie Ghosts of War, which is now available to watch for DIRECTV subscribers.

The film is available now on DIRECTV and will be available for everyone else to rent on demand and on digital HD on July 17.

Alan Ritchson, Theo Rossi, Kyle Gallner, Billy Zane, and Shaun Toub also star in the war drama, which was written and directed by Eric Bress.

Here’s a synopsis: Five battle-hardened American soldiers are assigned to hold a French Chateau near the end of World War II. Formerly occupied by the Nazi high command, this unexpected respite quickly descends into madness when they encounter a supernatural enemy far more terrifying than anything seen on the battlefield.

Naomi Watts and her ex Liev Schreiber hit the red carpet at the G’Day USA 2020 | Standing Together Dinner on Saturday night (January 25) at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Outlander‘s Caitriona Balfe was also in attendance at the event, as were former Grease stars John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. Grease 2‘s Michelle Pfeiffer was there with husband David E. Kelley.
