Danielle Deadwyler is set to lead the upcoming new The X-Files reboot!
The 43-year-old SAG Awards-nominated actress has been cast to star in the series from Ryan Coogler, according to The Wrap.
In addition, Hulu has given a pilot episode order for the reboot, which has been in the works for a few years now.

On Thursday (February 5), HBO debuted the first look at the upcoming comedy series Rooster starring the 63-year-old Golden Globe-winning actor.

The original comedy will debut in March 2026 and be available to stream on HBO Max. Season 1 will consist of 10 episodes. Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses are co-showrunners and executive producers with The Office star also executive producing in addition to starring.

After weeks of rumors and speculation on social media, it was officially confirmed on Friday (October 17) that fan-favorite influencer and YouTuber Trisha Paytas will be appearing in the upcoming third season of hit HBO series led by Zendaya.
Variety has also announced that Emmy nominee Natasha Lyonne and SAG nominee Danielle Deadwyler have also joined the cast.
