Busy has been cast as Natalia, “the beautiful and delightfully blunt first wife of an AI Billionaire, who divorced her when she turned forty. Now Natalia wants revenge and agrees to finance Michael and Olivia’s start-up law firm in order to go after his and other AI businesses.”

The upcoming new series is described as “a David vs. Goliath legal drama set in the heart of Silicon Valley that follows a lawyer (Mike Colter) who is being cheated out of his stock-options by his former employer, a tech start-up. Refusing to back down, he joins forces with another recently fired attorney (Rachel Keller) to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite, and help them fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths controlling Silicon Valley.”

Renée‘s casting was announced a month ago, and also marks another couple of reunions for her.

Also cast in the series are Ella Stiller and Nik Dodani.

A second season of Next Gen NYC is in the works!

The Bravo reality television show was officially announced to be renewed back in October 2025 after the cast was spotted filming in the city.

Next Gen NYC centers on “a tangled web of friends raised in the spotlight — or at least close enough for good lighting — as they stumble into adulthood one brunch, breakup and spontaneous decision at a time. Whether stepping out of their parents’ shadows or creating their own legacies from scratch, these twentysomethings are determined to conquer Manhattan — if they can figure out how to adult first. Together, they’ll navigate friendships, careers and romance, proving that trouble runs on espresso martinis and questionable decisions.”

The 69-year-old Forrest Gump star is set to portray the 16th President of the United States in the live-action/stop-motion animation hybrid movie called Lincoln in the Bardo, based on the acclaimed George Saunders book.

Per a new tweet on Monday (February 23), Rob states, “#HeatedRivalry fans take note: Connor Storrie has a one-scene, one-line role (“Russian Spetsnaz Soldier”) in the eighth episode of the upcoming fifth season of superior Apple TV drama #ForAllMankind”

For All Mankind season five is set to debut on March 27th, and according to Rob, Connor‘s ep will air on May 15th.

Per Apple TV, the new season “picks up in the years since the Goldilocks asteroid heist. Happy Valley has grown into a thriving colony with thousands of residents and a base for new missions that will take us even further into the solar system. But with the nations of Earth now demanding law and order on the Red Planet, friction continues to build between the people who live on Mars and their former home.”

Ryan Coogler, who is currently nominated for three 2026 Oscars for Sinners, is set to write, direct and produce the pilot episode. The Copenhagen Test‘s Jennifer Yale will serve as showrunner.

Here’s a synopsis: “Two highly decorated but vastly different FBI agents form an unlikely bond when they are assigned to a long-shuttered division devoted to cases involving unexplained phenomena.”

Original The X-Files creator Chris Carter will also serve as a producer, per Deadline, and back in 2024, said he will be championing the new reboot!

“I’ve been excited about that for a long time, and I’m fired up to get back to it. Some of those episodes, if we do our jobs right, will be really f*cking scary,” Ryan said on Last Podcast On The Left last year. “We’re gonna try to make something really great and really be something for the real X-Files fans, and maybe find some new ones.”

The fifth Descendants movie is on the way!

Disney just dropped the first look teaser for the upcoming Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, and we’ve got the latest updates on which stars are returning, and who’s not.

The next installment explores what ‘happily ever after’ really means for Red and Chloe following their time-traveling adventures in Descendants: The Rise of Red.

It is set “primarily in present-day Wonderland with a host of new and familiar characters, this movie delves into the warning from the previous movie: There are consequences when you alter the fabric of time.”

The movie musical will be released later this summer on Disney Plus and Disney Channel. An exact date will be announced at a later time.

Protection hails from Gossip Girl‘s Joshua Safran, who wrote the series. Jenna Bush Hager is an executive producer on the project, along with Joshua and Ben Spector.

Here’s the synopsis: “When a U.S. Marshal falls in the line of duty, a seemingly cut-and-dry case turns into a deadly conspiracy as a family of law enforcement agents become the target of a mysterious assassin. Bridging personal differences and crossing professional boundaries, the Thornhill family must use the expertise from a lifetime of protecting civilians and politicians to protect one another and bring the killer to justice … even if it means betraying their sworn code.”

Peter will reportedly play Mike Thornhill, who is a “former Secret Service agent and now Assistant Director of Intelligence. Mike is a career blue-collar government worker who doesn’t want his job to end. He’s been the life of the party forever and that attitude has come at a cost.”

He is the first cast member announced of what is said to be an ensemble cast.

Peter is also no stranger to NBC after previously starring in Parenthood alongside ex Lauren Graham.

Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is in the works!

The long-running Bravo reality television show kicked off production last fall, despite the network not announcing an official renewal (which is pretty typical).

Bad Bunny is setting to take on his first lead role in a movie!

The 31-year-old hitmaker will be starring in the upcoming historical drama Porto Rico from director René Pérez Joglar, aka Residente, according to Variety.

Benito will be joined by Javier Bardem, Edward Norton and Viggo Mortensen in the upcoming feature.

The new movie is described as a “gripping narrative inspired by true events,” about the origins of Puerto Rico.

René co-wrote the film with Alexander Dinelaris, with Alejandro González Iñárritu serving as an executive producer.

“I have dreamed of making a film about my country since I was a child. Puerto Rico’s true history has always been surrounded by controversy,” René shared in a statement. “This film is a reaffirmation of who we are — told with the intensity and honesty that our history deserves.”

Edward is also serving as a producer, alongside Bill Migliore and Michael Bederman, for Class 5 Films.

“This film sits in a tradition of films we deeply love, from The Godfather to Gangs of New York, that both thrill us with visceral drama and iconic characters and eras while also forcing us to face up to the shadow story under the American narrative of idealism,” Edward shared. “Everybody knows what a poet of language and rhythm René is. Now they’re going to see what a visual visionary he is as well. And bringing him and Bad Bunny together to tell the true story of Puerto Rico’s roots is going to be like a flame finding the stick of dynamite that’s been waiting for it.”

Bad Bunny has previously acted in such movies as Caught Stealing, Happy Gilmore 2, Cassandro and Bullet Train, as well as the TV series Narcos: Mexico.

Kristen Bell is taking on a role in the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie!

The 45-year-old The Good Place actress will voice Amy Rose in the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 4, out next year.

Hudson Williams has booked his first role after the success of Heated Rivalry and he’s keeping it within the family.

The 25-year-old actor plays Shane Hollander on Heated Rivalry, which was created by Canadian streamer Crave, and now he’s set to star in another TV series for Crave.

Hudson has signed on for the upcoming half-hour drama series Yaga.

The new series from Kat Sandler is based on her play of the same name, which centers on the “myth of Baba Yaga, a female character from Slavic folklore who is depicted as a witch,” according to Deadline.

Hudson will play “Henry Park in Yaga, the young heir to a powerful fishery. Season two of Ransom Canyon is on the way!

The Netflix series set in Texas Hill Country was renewed for a second season in June 2025 and filming took place later in the year and has already wrapped.

Mean Girls remains one of the most iconic teen movies, and that’s partly down to the all-around perfect casting choices that were made behind the scenes. Can you even imagine what it would have been like if the lineup of talent had been different!?

Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfied and Lacey Chabert grounded the movie as members of The Plastics – teen royalty of North Shore High School.

The 38-year-old former Bridgerton star is planning to star in and produce an upcoming new stage adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald‘s The Great Gatsby, according to Deadline.

“The Great Gatsby has always been a story incredibly close to my heart, and I couldn’t be more excited about bringing this new adaptation to life in London’s West End,” Regé-Jean shared in a statement.

He also called the new version “electric, glamorous, deeply romantic, utterly heartbreaking, and its profound insight into the past couldn’t be more relevant to our current tumultuous 2020s.”

For the production, Regé-Jean will reunite with director Michael Longhurst, who he previously worked with on a 2013 stage production of The History Boys at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre.

”I’ve been looking for the right thing to do on stage for years, and this piece’s delicate balance of spectacle and real human intimacy is something Mike [Longhurst] and I have always looked to excite and move audiences with. After we read it, we just both said: ‘My God, it’s perfect. We have to do it,’” the actor shared.

The series is based on a collection of short stories by Swedish writer Helene Tursten, which follows “Maud Oldcastle, an old killer with a tortured past. Up to No Good is set for Channel 4 in the UK and is being shopped internationally by Sony Pictures Television.

Gary Fleder, who directed five episodes of the MMA series, is set to helm the film, while Kingdom creator and writer Byron Balasco wrote the script. Filming is slated to kick off this coming June.

Bodyman is set to follow “a violent struggle for power and, ultimately survival, that ensues during a family Christmas when an eccentric billionaire unexpectedly signs over his nepo-baby children’s expected inheritance of his private military company to his longtime bodyguard (Jonas). Who will make it out of their remote family estate alive?”

The news comes off the heels of Nick‘s recently released new solo album Sunday’s Best.

Season two of the mystery thriller will be set in Hawaii, as a new case brings Eric Bana‘s Kyle Turner to Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park.

The new episodes (six, one-hour long eps) will follow “special agent Kyle Turner as he’s called to investigate a mysterious death in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, where local tensions and the volatile, living landscape become an unpredictable force.”

“We’re excited to explore the pristine landscapes and cultural identity of a very different national park, and find Turner in a new state of mind, outside the comfort of Yosemite,” co-showrunners and executive producers Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith tell Tudum.

Eric is the only known returning cast member, and will likely stay that way since the new season is taking place in an all-new location.

However, Deadline revealed this week that Shea Whigham has joined the cast of season two as Ray Burkart.

The character is described as a man “who moved from California to the Big Island of Hawaii 30 years ago, and has a hand in various businesses, some more legal than others. After suffering the tragic loss of his son, Burkart clashes with Turner in their search for his son’s killer.”

Amelia Dimoldenberg is making a movie!

The 32-year-old Chicken Shop Date creator and host is developing a romantic comedy for Orion Pictures, and she’ll also be starring in the film.

Amelia will play “a by-the-book journalist whose carefully planned life unravels when a routine celebrity interview unexpectedly turns into a romance that makes her question everything she believes about love,” per Variety.

Girls and Modern Love writer Sarah Heyward is writing the script.

In Chicken Shop Date, Amelia “dates” celebrities and interviews them in a chicken shop. It first launched in March of 2014.

The role of Peeta Mellark in the Hunger Games movies could have looked different!

Josh Hutcherson landed the role in the film adaptations of the popular books by Suzanne Collins, but there were several other young actors in contention.

If you recall, Peeta is a baker’s son from District 12, who was reaped along with Katniss Everdeen in the 74th Hunger Games.

Josh starred in the first four movies, alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth, and now, we can’t imagine anyone else in the role of Peeta.

Believe it or not, nine other actors auditioned to play Katniss before Jennifer was cast as the arrow-slinging star. Liam faced off against three other actors, too.

The Valley will be returning for another season!

Bravo‘s Vanderpump Rules spinoff has been confirmed for a third season, and we have all the latest on who is set to appear in the new episodes.

Last fall, there were some new updates during the show’s panel at 2025 BravoCon in Las Vegas.

While the series normally would film over the summer, they pushed back the production schedule for the new season, with executive producer Alex Baskin telling THR, “And the fun thing is, we’ll catch different events. We’ll catch different moments in people’s lives. There’s [more] birthdays and whatever else, and so I don’t think that’s a bad thing.”

The Valley follows “a group of close friends as they trade bottle service in West Hollywood for baby bottles in the Valley all while they navigate bustling businesses, rocky relationships and feisty friendships.”

There’s even a spinoff following Shahs of Sunset alums who are also at a different stage in life now!

Dylan O’Brien is sharing his thoughts on straight actors bring LGBTQ+ characters to life on the screen.

The 34-year-old Maze Runner alum took on a daunting double casting in his 2025 film Twinless. In it, he played twins Rocky and Roman — the former being gay, while the latter is straight.

In a new interview, Dylan shared his thoughts about bringing a gay character to life and where he thinks that some straight actors go wrong when taking on a queer role.

Speaking to Dazed, the actor stressed that part of his willingness to play Rocky came from getting “permission” from writer/director/costar James Sweeney, who identifies as gay.

“James is a gay man, and coming from a place I could trust. We had a similar take on straight actors playing gay parts, especially in recent years: you started seeing straight actors playing a queer role completely straight,” Dylan said. “It started to feel inauthentic. It was nice to have his insight, support, and calibration. He’d be like, ‘Go crazy on this one. We can dial it back if it doesn’t feel real.’ ”

James also shared his thoughts on the matter, praising his costar for “making capital ‘C’ choices” as an actor.

“These are larger-than-life characters that feel so real because he brings so much pathos. In terms of him playing queer – I’ll take credit for giving him permission and pushing him in a direction to be fluid with the masculinity and femininity,” he explained.

He opined that “A lot of times when straight actors play gay, they don’t lean into that out of fear of being vilified by the public, and are like, ‘We’re all the same, so I’m just going to play myself.’ I don’t mean that as a denigration to other straight actors, but I felt for Rocky to be attracted to Dennis, he would need to be comfortable with both masculinity and femininity – in my experience of dating.”

Dylan previously revealed that James developed a “gay scale” that they used on set. He also weighed in on seeing himself in intimate scenes on screen.
