The trailer for the upcoming PBS Masterpiece series, The Count of Monte Cristo, has just debuted!

Sam Claflin is taking on the leading role in the series, which will debut on March 22 on the fan fave network.

Here’s the season’s synopsis: On the eve of his wedding, Edmond Dantès’ future is suddenly snatched away when he is wrongly accused of treason. As the years pass, Edmond endures his sentence on the island prison of the Castle d’If with no hope of returning to his beloved fiancée, Mercedes. But his fortunes change when he encounters a fellow inmate, the Abbé Faria, who imparts his vast knowledge to the young man, including the whereabouts of a hidden treasure. Armed with this knowledge and the desire for revenge, Edmond escapes and reinvents himself as the wealthy and mysterious Count of Monte Cristo. Jeremy Irons and Ana Girardot also star.

Jason Statham‘s movie The Beekeeper is getting a sequel and there are lots of updates about the cast to report!

The first movie was released in theaters in January 2024 and grossed $162 million at the global box office.

In the action movie, one man’s brutal campaign for vengeance takes on national stakes after he is revealed to be a former operative of a powerful and clandestine organization known as “Beekeepers.”

While David Ayer directed the first movie, the sequel is being directed by Timo Tjahjanto, who just made Nobody 2. The film is currently in production!

The Beekeeper 2 is coming!

The 2024 action movie follows one man’s brutal campaign for vengeance, which “takes on national stakes after he is revealed to be a former operative of a powerful and clandestine organization known as ‘Beekeepers,’” per the official logline.

It ended up being a box office success, bringing in over $160 million at the global box office. It was a hit with audiences too, scoring a 92% rating among viewers on Rotten Tomatoes.

Nobody 2 director Timo Tjahjanto will direct the film, which will be penned by Kurt Wimmer.

Jason Statham is already confirmed to reprise his role of Adam Clay in the sequel.

The Morning Show is coming back soon!

Season 4 of the series, which stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, will debut on September 17 on Apple TV+.

The 10-episode season launches that Wednesday with the first episode, followed by a weekly Friday release through November 19.

The fourth season will time jump to open nearly two years after the events of Season 3.

The new cast includes Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper and Boyd Holbrook.

Returning stars include Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie and fan-favorite Jon Hamm.
