Netflix has debuted the new trailer for the upcoming series American Primeval!
The western limited series stars Taylor Kitsch and Betty Gilpin in leading roles as Isaac and Sara Rowell, respectively, and it’s set to premiere on the streamer in the beginning of the new year.

American Primeval is one of the big new TV shows coming in 2025.
The upcoming 6-episode limited series arrives on Netflix on January 9, 2025.
Here’s a plot summary, via Tudum: “This is America, 1857. Up is down, pain is everywhere, innocence and tranquility are losing the battle to hatred and fear. Peace is the shrinking minority, and very few possess grace — even fewer know compassion. There’s no safe haven in these wild lands, and only one goal matters: survival. American Primeval is a fictionalized dramatization and examination of the violent collision of culture, religion, and community as men and women fight and die for control of this world. The ensemble tells a story of the sacrifice all must pay when they choose to enter the lawless and brutal frontier.”

Lily Gladstone and Charles Melton were among the big winners at the 2024 New York Film Critics Circle Awards this week!
The rising stars were both in attendance at the event on Wednesday night (January 3) at TAO Downtown in New York City.
Lily won the Best Actress award for Killers of the Flower Moon while Charles took home the Best Supporting Actor prize for May December.
Best Actor went to Passages‘ Franz Rogowski and Best Supporting Actress went to The Holdovers‘ Da’Vine Joy Randolph.

The first footage from Christopher Nolan‘s next project, Oppenheimer, has just debuted online. The film follows Cillian Murphy as theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, the director of the Manhattan Project and the “father of the atomic bomb.”
The teaser features voice-overs by the film’s star-studded cast, including Emily Blunt and Robert Downey, Jr.
