Jessica Chastain and Chris Pine are teaming up for a new movie.
On Monday (February 2), it was announced that the 48-year-old Oscar-winning actress and the 45-year-old Star Trek actor will be starring together in the new movie This Is Pleasure, based on Mary Gaitskill‘s 2019 #MeToo novella.

Chris Pine and Jenny Slate are kicking off the 2026 Sundance Film Festival with their movie Carousel!
The co-stars hit the red carpet at the premiere on Thursday night (January 22) at the Eccles Center Theater in Park City, Utah.
They were joined at the event by co-star Abby Ryder Fortson, who plays Chris‘ daughter in the movie, and writer-director Rachel Lambert.
In an interview with AP, Chris opened up about working with Jenny.
“We just had an immediate affinity for one another,” he said. “Jenny is so smart, and I’m sort of a lover of smart people, so immediately she had me. And she likes to laugh and she makes me giggle. So we just had a really, really easy time getting to know one another.”
Here’s the movie’s synopsis: “Noah’s settled life caring for his anxious daughter and medical practice is disrupted when his high school ex Rebecca returns. Their old spark remains, making them question if love deserves another chance.”

Chris Pine had a date night with his girlfriend at the 2026 Golden Globes!
The 45-year-old actor made a rare public appearance with girlfriend Keana Sky Wenger on Sunday (January 11) at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Chris was a presented at the awards show on Sunday night and Keana joined him as his plus one.
It has been reported that Chris and Keana started dating in 2023 and that they met while she was working as a waitress at a Los Angeles restaurant.
One Battle After Another was the big winner at the Golden Globes and Chris and Keana were actually spotted waiting in line to watch the movie in VistaVision back in October!

Chris Pine and Michael Fassbender are checking out some soccer!
The 45-year-old Wonder Woman actor and the 48-year-old Inglourious Basterds actor sat together at the Como 1907 Vs Sassuolo soccer match on Friday (November 28) held at Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium in Como, Italy.
Chris looked sharp in a black coat over a tan suit and black turtleneck while Michael bundled up in a black puffer jacket paired with jeans.
During the game, the actors were seen chatting and cheering on the players.
Earlier this month, Chris was among the many stars that Pope Leo XIV invited to The Vatican for a meeting about the film industry.
It was recently revealed that Michael is attached to star in a new Netflix series based on the Kennedy family.
