Maggie Gyllenhaal worked with Jessie Buckley on her feature film directorial debut, The Lost Daughter, and now they’re working together again on The Bride.

Jessie is starring as the bride of Frankenstein’s monster in the new take on the classic story, directed by Maggie.

A lonely Frankenstein (Christian Bale) travels to 1930s Chicago to ask groundbreaking scientist Dr. Euphronious (Annette Bening) to create a companion for him. The two revive a murdered young woman and The Bride (Buckley) is born. What ensues is beyond what either of them imagined: Murder! Possession! A wild and radical cultural movement! And outlaw lovers in a wild and combustible romance!

Also starring in the movie are Penelope Cruz, as well as Maggie‘s husband Peter Sarsgaard and brother Jake Gyllenhaal.

The movie will be released in theaters on March 6. Watch the trailer below!

Amazon MGM Studios just released the first teaser for upcoming biographical film Madden and stars Nicolas Cage and Christian Bale look unrecognizable.

The upcoming film is directed and co-produced by David O. Russell, who also co-wrote the script.

Christian Bale is in early talks to star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Heat 2!

Last month, it was revealed that a long-awaited sequel to the 1995 film is in the works at Amazon MGM Studios’ United Artists. Michael Mann is set to direct the movie with Leo, 51, attached to star.

It is now being reported that Christian, also 51, is circling a co-starring role in Heat 2, according to Deadline.

Christian Bale just made a very rare appearance with his full family by his side!

The 51-year-old actor was joined by his wife Sibi and their two kids while attending the Dolce&Gabbana Alta Moda show and dinner on Monday (July 14) at the Fori Imperiali, Via Sacra site in Rome, Italy.

Their daughter Luka, 20, and son Rex, 11, were both there. For those who don’t know, Luka made brief cameos in the movies Ford v Ferrari and Thor: Love and Thunder while Rex appeared in Thor: Love and Thunder too.

The family posed for a photo with designer Domenico Dolce.

Christian wore a black single-breasted Martini-fit suit paired with a button-down shirting. Sibi wore a black floral lace midi dress with a pair of black patent heels. She accessorized her look with an SS25 rosary necklace with decorative details and DG logo and a satin Marlene bag.

Luka wore a black lace and charmeuse slip dress. She accessorized her look with a pair of rosary earrings and a coordinating rosary necklace. Rex wore a black Martini fit suit paired with a button-down shirting.

Nicolas Cage is spending another day on set!

The 61-year-old Oscar-winning actor gave a speech as he recreated John Madden‘s NFL Hall of Fame induction ceremony as he filmed scenes for the upcoming Madden biopic on Monday (June 30) in Atlanta, Georgia.

If you didn’t know, Madden was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006.

Madden was the head coach of the Oakland Raiders in the 1970s and led the team to numerous championships and its first Super Bowl win in 1976. After retiring in 1979, he became a mainstay in football coverage as he worked as a commentator for more than three decades. Madden announced his retirement as a broadcaster in 2009 and died in 2021 at the age of 85. He is also the namesake for the fan-favorite Madden video game.

Christian Bale was nearly unrecognizable as Al Davis on set while wearing his own Hall of Fame jacket. Davis, who was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1992, was close friends with Madden and former owner of the Raiders. He died in October 2011 at the age of 82.

Whether that means they transform through makeup and prosthetics, CGI, or even maybe physically making changes to their body from working out and/or dieting to achieve the look they need for the character.
