The January 2026 Hallmark Channel movie and TV lineup is here!
There are a bunch of movies and TV shows coming as part of the network’s “Winter Escape” programming, including several fan-favorite Hallmark Channel stars set to appear.
There will also great new TV, including a new season of When Calls the Heart and the premiere of Second Chance at Love.

Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne are returning for another season of Platonic!
Apple TV+ officially renewed the comedy series for a third season on Friday (December 5), two months after the season two finale aired.
The show’s renewal comes after season two debuted with a 100% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, up from the first season’s 93%.

Luke Macfarlane is opening up about his range as an actor, and sharing the details of his next big project.
The 44-year-old actor, who came out as gay in 2008 while starring on Brothers & Sisters, has largely taken on queer roles in his career.
Now, in the new Apple TV+ comedy Platonic, he takes on a straight role while playing Rose Byrne’s character’s husband.
The show follows best friends Sylvia (Byrne) and Will (Seth Rogen) as they navigate life and friendship.
“Quite simply, like most actors, gay actors, straight actors, we just need someone to say, ‘I’m gonna give you a shot,’” Luke said at the show’s Los Angeles premiere, via Variety.

Luke Macfarlane is looking back on a time when he nearly got into a bar fight with Jason Wahler.
The 45-year-old Platonic actor recently appeared on SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show to promote the second season of his Apple TV+ series and was asked if he ever watched The Hills.
This led to him sharing a story of when he first moved to Hollywood and meeting Spencer Pratt, who he then corrected to say he thinks it might’ve actually been Jason, also from The Hills.

Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne are stepping out to promote the new season of their Apple TV+ series!
The Emmy-nominated stars joined co-stars Luke Macfarlane and Carla Gallo at the season 2 premiere of Platonic on Wednesday evening (July 30) held at Hammer Museum in Los Angeles.
Fellow cast members in attendance included Tre Hale, Andrew Lopez, Vinny Thomas, and Francesca Delbanco.
Platonic season two picks up with everyone’s favorite pair of best friends (Rogen and Byrne) as they contend with new mid-life hurdles including work, weddings and partners in crises. The duo tries their best to be each other’s rock — but sometimes rocks break things.
Platonic season 2 debuts on Wednesday, August 6 on Apple TV+. Watch the trailer here!

BJ Britt and Tyler Hynes pose for a photo together while attending 2025 Comic-Con International on Thursday (July 24) in San Diego, Calif.
The two Groomsmen trilogy co-stars were joined by several other Hallmark Channel stars as they attended the “Hallmark Hallstars” panel.
Also attending were Chyler Leigh, Luke MacFarlane, Will Kemp, Erin Cahill, Heather Hemmens and Holland Roden.
Fans in attendance at the panel were treated to “exclusive behind-the-scenes stories, sneak peeks of upcoming projects, and celebrate the joy these films bring to audiences around the world.”
There’s also a Hallmark shop at Comic-Con that has so many convention exclusives!
