The long-running Hallmark Channel series When Calls the Heart usually airs on Sunday evenings, but the show will not be on tonight.

Hallmark decided to switch up the airdate of this week’s new episode to stay away from Super Bowl Sunday competition.

Season 13′s sixth episode, titled “Moment of Truth,” actually aired LAST NIGHT instead, so if you didn’t catch it, you sadly missed it already. The network programmed the episode at 10pm on Saturday night (February 7) after the latest movie premiere.

Hallmark Channel has shared a gallery of photos from the upcoming 13th season of long-running series When Calls the Heart!

The show, led by actors Erin Krakow and Kevin McGarry, will return on Sunday, January 4.

In season 13, the town of Hope Valley comes together in the wake of a devastating wildfire. Schoolteacher Elizabeth Thornton (Krakow) and Mountie Nathan Grant’s (McGarry) romance reaches new heights.

A description of episode one reveals, “Hope Valley prepares for the opening of Goldie National Park. Elizabeth, Nathan, Allie, and Little Jack return home, but is it for just the weekend?”

The season 13 photos include returning guest star Brooke Shields, along with actors like Jack Wagner, Pascale Hutton, Kavan Smith, Viv Leacock, Ben Rosenbaum, and so many more.

Hallmark+ has greenlit a When Calls the Heart prequel series!

Ahead of the season 13 launch of the long-running Hallmark series, the network has announced that the prequel show Hope Valley: 1874 will air on the streaming service Hallmark+.

The eight-episode series will begin production next week in Vancouver ahead of a March 2026 debut on the streamer, according to Variety.

Hallmark’s head of programming, Michelle Vicary, said in a statement, “Hope Valley: 1874 gives us a wonderful opportunity to further explore the universe of When Calls the Heart and build a deeper world around this show for our devoted fans, who have helped make it one of the most successful and enduring series on television today. We’re excited for the Hearties to join us as we tell this rich origin story filled with the kind of heart, community and hope they know and love.”
