Netflix has a limited series in the works, The Altruists, about the real life cryptocurrency exchange FTX, and comedian Matt Rife will be one of the series regulars!

He’ll be playing the real life businessman Ryan Salame, who is currently serving 90 months in prison after pleading guilty to violating campaign finance laws and operating an illegal money-transmitting business. Julia Garner and Anthony Boyle are starring as the leads, Caroline Ellison and Sam Bankman-Fried.

Here’s the official logline, per Variety: “The story of Sam Bankman-Fried and Caroline Ellison, two hyper-smart, ambitious young idealists who tried to remake the global financial system in the blink of an eye – and then seduced, coaxed, and teased each other into stealing $8 billion.”

Machine Gun Kelly plays an artis at his breaking point in the trailer for his new movie Taurus.

The 32-year-old “Bloody Valentine” hitmaker is credited under his real name Colson Baker in the movie. He’s joined by the likes of Maddie Hasson, Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory, Ruby Rose, Scoot McNairy, Lil Tjay and Naomi Wild.

Megan Fox is supporting Machine Gun Kelly on his big night.

The engaged couple stepped out for the premiere of his new movie Taurus held during the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival on Thursday evening (June 9) at the SVA Theater in New York City.

For the event, Megan, 36, wore a red, leather dress while MGK, 32, paired with newly dyed bright pink hair with a white suit.

Also stepping out for the premiere was Taurus director Tim Sutton along with fellow cast members Maddie Hasson and Naomi Wild.

Taurus is a semi-autobiographical feature that’s loosely based on MGK’s life and experiences as a musician.

The new trailer for Malignant just debuted online!

The new film marks director James Wan‘s return to his horror roots.

In the film, Madison (Annabelle Wallis) is paralyzed by shocking visions of grisly murders, and her torment worsens as she discovers that these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities.

Malignant will be released in theaters and on HBO Max on September 10. It will be available on HBO Max’s ad-free plan for 31 days from theatrical release.

Also starring in the film are Maddie Hasson, George Young, Michole Briana White, Jacqueline McKenzie, Jake Abel, and Ingrid Bisu.
