Matt and Angela Lanter are parents once again!
The 42-year-old actor, who recently recurred on Prime Video’s Motorheads, and the lifestyle blogger welcomed their second child together, a baby boy, into the world on Thursday, August 28, a rep confirmed to People.
Their new little one joins big sis MacKenlee Faire, 7.

Matt Lanter is expecting his second child!
The 42-year-old actor, best known for his roles on Timeless and 90210, announced that he and his wife Angela are going to expand their family.
Matt and Angela shared the news by posting a video about the “story of us,” which recapped their relationship and all of their highlights. The stars are already parents to seven-year-old daughter MacKenlee, who was born in December 2017.
Angela shared another post in which she said, “Lanter- party of four š«¶š¼ Our rainbow baby is coming late summer and we couldnāt be more excited. Kenny is taking her role of big sister very seriously and with good reasonā¦ Sheās been praying for a sibling for years. Sheās already practicing holding her baby dolls and supporting their heads like a good big sister.š«¶š¼”

Matt recently opened up about an emergency surgery he had done in 2022 and how he’s grateful to be here following that experience.

On Sunday (March 27), the 90210 star’s wife Angela revealed that the actor had “started to turn the corner and is slowly getting on the road to recovery” after being hospitalized last week.

The 34-year-old Timeless actor and the 33-year-old lifestyle vlogger revealed the happy news on Friday (January 5).
Their baby girl is named MacKenlee Faire Lanter.
“I never knew how much I loved your daddy until I saw how much he loves you. @mattlanter and I are thrilled to introduce you to our new bundle of joy! MacKenlee Faire Lanter was born on December 30th and weighed in at 6 lbs 11 oz and 20″ long. She’s the sweetest little angel baby ever,” Angela wrote on her Instagram.
“Head over to my blog to see more photos and read a little more about her delivery. We’ll be telling our birth story and the meaning behind her name soon on @hellobumppodcast. Thank you for all your love, support and prayers throughout this sweet journey to become a mama. This week has been filled so much love, happy tears and, yes, sleepless nights, but we’re blissfully in love with this sweet girl of ours.”

On expecting his first child with his wife Angela: “She is due January 11th and we have a podcast called Hello Bump to document our time with her being pregnant, emotionally and her physically. We started doing it just for us, so we could listen back on our experience, but then and we figured we could do this and maybe it will help others too. She talks about the grossest, nastiest stuff about her being pregnant, and she is like why don’t people tell you this stuff. People aren’t honest about this stuff. We have been doing it every week.”
On their bond: “We both have strong faith in the Lord, and I think for us, that is something that bonds us and we have a focus on that above all else. We are both playful, and we have a lot of fun and jab at each other. I feel like sarcasm is important in a relationship.”
On the role he’d still love to land: “I get a lot of opportunity in dramas, but I would love to do something in comedy.”

The 34-year-old Timeless actor and the 32-year-old lifestyle vlogger revealed in August that they’re having their first child. And now we know the baby’s gender!
During the latest episode of their podcast, Hello Bump, the duo revealed that they’ll be having a baby girl.
The couple requested that the clinic reveal the results in a note placed inside an envelope. They then videotaped their reactions as they opened the envelope at home, and played that audio during the podcast!
“It’s a little girl! A little girl!” Matt yells during the recording.
“You didn’t expect that!” Angela exclaims. “I was right!”
Matt‘s NBC show Timeless was picked up for a second season. You can also catch him in Pitch Perfect 3, in theaters this December.
