Ireland Baldwin is sharing some rare and touching comments about her relationship with stepmom Hilaria Baldwin.

For those who don’t know, Ireland is the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger. They split in 2000 when she was just five years old. Alec later started dating Hilaria in 2011 and got married one year later. The couple now shares seven more children together.

Ireland took to Instagram on Thursday (September 4) to share a message about Hilaria amid the news that she’s competing on Dancing With the Stars this year.

“I wanted to take a second to talk about my step mom @hilariabaldwin. I think if people actually knew her the way I do, they would be quite surprised. This post may come out of left field since I don’t post about her or any family members much,” Ireland began her open letter.

On Thursday (May 18), Ireland Baldwin announced that she and boyfriend Andre Allen Anjos (AKA RAC) welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Holland.

Ireland Baldwin and her boyfriend, musician RAC, were celebrated at a very nontraditional baby shower!

The 27-year-old mom-to-be was joined by family and friends at Jumbo’s Clown Room for a strip club “baby blowout” event on Monday night (March 6) in Los Angeles.

“Way too many of these to post but it’ll have to come in parts 😂 My friends and family threw us a very traditional baby shower as you can see. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I was showered… in booty. Thank you to everyone at @jumbosclownroomofficial for making dreams come true and for being so kind. 🫶🏼 And thank you to everyone coming 💘,” Ireland wrote on Instagram.

In a post that featured her mom Kim Basinger, the former model wrote, “baby’s first strip club extravaganza 🎀.”

Kim was joined at the event by her boyfriend Mitch Stone.
