Erin Cahill Shares The Heartwarming Story Behind That Viral Hallmark Group Photo With Lacey Chabert, Nikki DeLoach & Brooke D'Orsay

Earlier this year, four Hallmark leading ladies – Erin Cahill, Nikki DeLoach, Lacey Chabert, and Brooke D’Orsay gathered together for an epic group photo.
The four stars, along with Cassandra Troy (who is Andrew Walker‘s wife), and Hallmark exec Shaina Julian, met up for a night out after a long week of filming and working on projects.
While the picture just looks like six women gathering together to wrap up their week, in Just Jared‘s interview with Erin, she revealed that it was so much more.

As we talked to Erin about her new movie, Hearts in the Game, and how it highlighted the importance of adult female friendships, she opened up about this particular moment.
“I have sang it out from the rooftops in every interview that Hallmark is a family. We actually are a family on and off camera and, and those girls. What’s magic is that we don’t just get together and laugh, which we do hard, hard, but we also get together like the magic that picture that day actually I was,” she told us.
She explained that she was “dealing with some family health issues and I’d had a really rough day caretaking and um, and I just, I just was like, Hey girls. And they, and they know it’s been like we’ve, it’s just been a challenge. I came a little late because of that and when I arrived, Nikki was the first to ask how everybody’s been.”
“We were so excited to see each other and hugging and…everybody’s like, ‘How are you?’,” Erin said, before adding that it was “a rough day.”
However, while Erin tried to brush that off and told them “‘I’m okay. That’s not what we’re here for. We’re here to be with each other and enjoy each other. Nikki went, ‘No, no. We’re here to be here for each other.’ I just started crying, and then Brooke started crying and then Lacey started crying. Nikki, I think already was crying before she even asked me the question. So it was like, it was this like, such a connected, beautiful…we’re such a family. We are such a family.”
“They’re amazing and we really empower each other,” Erin went on.
She also said that not only were the ladies there for her at that moment, they, along with many other Hallmark stars are always rooting for each other professionally.
“It’s like, ‘Oh hey, I thought you’d be right for this. Or you know, do you have a question about this? Cause I was wondering how, like, can I ask you how this works? And Oh my gosh, yes. And actually you should talk to so-and-so.’ We really, really empower each other at the network as women. In a way that I didn’t even know was possible in this industry.”
Hearts in The Game will re-air Friday, May 5 and Sunday, May 7 on Hallmark Channel.
