Hallmark Channel is currently working on the second installment of the Biltmore Christmas franchise and the first behind-the-scenes photos from set were just shared by returning stars Wes Brown and Rachel Boston!

The original film followed a screenwriter who is hired to write the script for the remake of a beloved holiday movie, filmed in the 1940s at the historic Biltmore House. She gets sent to the iconic location for research and ends up traveling back in time to the 1947 set of His Merry Wife.

Wes and Rachel appeared in 2023′s A Biltmore Christmas at the end of the movie, playing the actors who starred in the remake.

2026′s A Grand Biltmore Christmas will feature a brand-new story with brand-new characters played by Holland Roden and Niall Matter, but we’re once again getting cameos from Rachel and Wes. It also has been confirmed that Jonathan Frakes is reprising his role as Winston.

“Absolutely thrilled to be back in Asheville, North Carolina at the stunning Biltmore Estate for A Grand Biltmore Christmas, stepping back into this role with the lovely Rachel Boston. Grateful to Hallmark Channel for the opportunity to come back and re visit these characters,” Wes wrote on Instagram.

He added, “Niall Matter and Holland Roden are gonna blow you guys away!!”

During an on-set interview this week, Rachel said, “Having these memories and being back with this fabulous cast for A Grand Biltmore Christmas and getting to celebrate here again [is incredible.] And it’s such a great town, we’ve really enjoyed exploring.”

The new movie will air during 2026′s Countdown to Christmas at the end of this year.

Time travel is a common theme in Hallmark Christmas movies and this year’s film featuring it is A Newport Christmas!

Wes Brown and Ginna Claire Mason star in the new movie, which debuts TONIGHT (November 2) at 8pm as part of the Countdown to Christmas.

Ginna Claire plays Ella, a young woman in 1905 Newport who learns her father wants her to marry a stranger, so she makes a wish on a comet and suddenly finds herself in 2025. There, she meets Nick (Brown), a sailor who says her boat belongs to him. As Ella explores the modern world and grows close to Nick, she realizes she must return to her own time to protect her legacy, though what she finds waiting for her back home is more surprising than what she found in the future.

“It’s this magical mix of history, fantasy and sci-fi. Reading the script my mind was sort of blown!” Ginna Claire told Southern Living.

Wes Brown and Ginna Claire Mason are starring in a brand new Hallmark Channel movie airing this holiday season and they teased some exciting news last week!

The actors promoted their movie A Newport Christmas while attending the Countdown to Christmas launch event in Nashville.

“I think this movie is so fun. I feel like it’s a Hallmark classic with this magical, historical fantasy element. A story about love that transcend time, literally. I’m from 1905 and what century are you from,” Ginna Claire asked Wes, who said his character is from 2025.

She added, “I feel like these two people from two totally different centuries meet each other and bond over the fact that they’re both looking for hope and for home.”

Wes then broke the news about his new song with Ginna Claire, who has starred on Broadway as Glinda in Wicked.
