The 2025 Gotham Awards ceremony is one of the first major awards shows of the season and there are so many celebs in attendance at the event!

Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna, Michael B. Jordan, Amanda Seyfried, and Kristen Stewart are just a handful of the stars who stepped out on Monday evening (December 1) held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

The Gothams provide early recognition and media attention for outstanding and groundbreaking voices in storytelling inclusive of writers, directors, producers and actors. Nominees are selected by committees of film and television critics, journalists, festival programmers, and film curators. Separate juries of writers, directors, actors, producers, editors, and others directly involved in making films will determine the final recipients of The Gothams.

Amanda Seyfried is getting rave reviews!

The 39-year-old actress hit the red carpet at the 2025 Venice Film Festival for the premiere of her new movie The Testament of Ann Lee on Monday (September 1) in Venice, Italy.

Co-stars and celebs hit the red carpet at the event, including Thomasin McKenzie, Scott Handy, Christopher Abbott, Tim Blake Nelson, David Cale, Lewis Pullman, Jamie Bogyo, Viola Prettejohn, Brady Corbet, Celia Rowlson-Hall, Daniel Blumberg, and Maria Sand and Stacy Martin.

She also took photos with director Mona Fastvold at the event.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited hundreds of artists and executives to join the organization!

Wicked star Ariana Grande, Dune‘s Jason Momoa and girlfriend, Hit Man star Adria Arjona, Superman‘s Rachel Brosnahan and Anora breakout Mikey Madison are among the actors who have “distinguished themselves by their contributions to motion pictures.”

“We are thrilled to invite this esteemed class of artists, technologists, and professionals to join the Academy,” Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy President Janet Yang shared in a statement. “Through their commitment to filmmaking and to the greater movie industry, these exceptionally talented individuals have made indelible contributions to our global filmmaking community.”

The stars of The Brutalist are hitting the red carpet!

Joe Alwyn and Guy Pearce looked sharp in black tuxes as they arrived at the 2025 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 2) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Raffey Cassidy, Alessandro Nivola with wife Emily Mortimer, and Stacy Martin along with director and co-writer Brady Corbet and co-writer Mona Fastvold.

The Brutalist is nominated tonight for 10 awards including Best Picture.

The Oscars will be hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien for the first time and the show is airing live on ABC and Hulu. The movie Emilia Perez leads the nominations with 13 nods, followed by The Brutalist and Wicked with 10 each. The 16th annual intimate dinner took place on Saturday (March 1) at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, just ahead of the 2025 Oscars on Sunday (March 2), featuring a star-studded guest list of this year’s nominees, actors, musicians, directors, producers, writers, and Hollywood influencers.

The stars are gathering in Hollywood for Oscars weekend!

Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez joined Vin Diesel, Guy Pearce, and Adrien Brody at The CAA Pre-Oscar Party on Friday night (February 28) held at The Living Room in Los Angeles.

Other stars at the party included Sebastian Stan, Ana de Armas, Kerry Washington, and Jon Hamm.

Brady Corbet is opening up about The Brutalist.

The 36-year-old director who helmed the film, which has received 10 nominations at the 2025 Oscars, says he made “zero dollars” from the acclaimed drama.

“I just directed three advertisements in Portugal… it’s the first time that I had made any money really in years,“ he admitted on the WTF With Marc Maron podcast on Monday (February 17).
