The movie One Battle After Another won big at the 2025 Gotham Film Awards and several stars from the film were there!

Teyana Taylor, Chase Infiniti, and Regina Hall all walked the red carpet on Monday evening (December 1) held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Benicio Del Toro and director Paul Thomas Anderson, with partner Maya Rudolph, were there as well. Noticeably absent was Leonardo DiCaprio, who did attend an event with the cast over the weekend in NYC. See those photos in the gallery!

One Battle After Another won the Best Feature award, beating out nine other movies for the prize.

“I didn’t expect this,” Anderson said while picking up his first Gotham win. “Thank you very much for enjoying this film, for rewarding this film. I had a great time making it.”

The winners list for the 2025 Gotham Film Awards has been revealed!

While the awards show used to celebrate the best in independent films, the event now celebrates independent stories instead.

So many celebrities walked the red carpet at the event, with many of them there as nominees or honorees.

The international film It Was Just an Accident, by Iranian director Jafar Panahi, was the big winner of the night, taking home all three awards it was nominated for.

The 2025 Gotham Awards ceremony is one of the first major awards shows of the season and there are so many celebs in attendance at the event!

Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna, Michael B. Jordan, Amanda Seyfried, and Kristen Stewart are just a handful of the stars who stepped out on Monday evening (December 1) held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

The Gothams provide early recognition and media attention for outstanding and groundbreaking voices in storytelling inclusive of writers, directors, producers and actors. Nominees are selected by committees of film and television critics, journalists, festival programmers, and film curators. Separate juries of writers, directors, actors, producers, editors, and others directly involved in making films will determine the final recipients of The Gothams.

25 actors and actresses have been nominated for 2025 Gotham Film Awards!

Often regarded as the kickoff to awards season, the Gotham Awards tell us a lot about what performances are being lauded. By the way, panels of film experts and committees select the nominees for the Gotham Awards.

This year, Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another received the most nominations at the Gotham Awards with six total. However, the film’s star, Leonardo DiCaprio, was not recognized. Benicio Del Toro, Teyana Taylor, and Chase Infiniti were all recognized.

Stars like Jacob Elordi, Jennifer Lawrence, Adam Sandler, Tessa Thompson, and father-son duo Stellan and Alexander Skarsgård, were all nominated as well.

The awards show will be held on December 1, 2025.
