In season nine of Selling Sunset, viewers saw the formerly very close friends drift apart, and it all stems from Emma‘s relationship Blake.
Last week, Chrishell explained some of the origins of her falling out with Emma, saying about her partnership, “In the beginning, he was nice to me. He just would say these extremely problematic things. I have a deep core issue with people who think that way, so it was upsetting. Even though he was being nice, he compared people being nonbinary to mental illness. That’s my partner, whom I love dearly.” Chrishell‘s spouse G Flip uses them/them pronouns.

In season nine of Selling Sunset, viewers saw the formerly very close friends drift apart, and it all stems from Emma‘s relationship with new boyfriend Blake Davis.
The season ended with Chrishell and Emma seemingly back on good terms after Emma broke up with Blake.
However, off-camera, Emma got back together with Blake, who Chrishell claims made derogatory comments about non-binary people, including Chrishell‘s partner G Flip.

Chrishell, 44, and Emma, 33, became fast friends when Emma first joined the Netflix reality show in 2021 for season four. The 33-year-old reality star seemingly started dating Blake, 28, in early 2024 as he shared their first Instagram photo together in April 2024.
The current season of Selling Sunset was filmed in January and February 2025 and the couple broke up during filming, but they seemingly got back together within the next few months as they celebrate Blake‘s 28th birthday together in May 2025.
