Virgin River season 7 is returning to Netflix next month, and they just debuted the new trailer!

Virgin River is a romance story centered around nurse practitioner Melinda Monroe’s (Alexandra Breckenridge) move to the remote California town of Virgin River. Yearning for a fresh start, Monroe discovered that small-town living isn’t quite as simple as she expected and that she had to learn to heal herself before she could truly make Virgin River her home.

Alexandra returns as a series regular this season, along with Martin Henderson, Tim Matheson, Annette O’Toole, Colin Lawrence, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Zibby Allen, Sarah Dugdale, Marco Grazzini, Kai Bradbury, and Kandyse McClure.

Season 7 returns on March 12, and it’s already renewed for an eighth season!

There’s an update on Virgin River and the show’s upcoming seventh season!

One of the show’s stars, Martin Henderson, who portrays Jack Sheridan, confirmed that they just started production on season 7!

In a video on social media, he wrote a caption telling fans: “Season 7 of #virginriver !!!!! Day 1 – here we go……!!!! So stoked to be back at it doing what I love for all of you who love the show.”

Meanwhile, the season 7 cast is undergoing a big shakeup, and we have all the info. At least 2 characters will NOT be returning. And 2 new actors have joined the cast.

Netflix’s hit show Virgin River just returned for season six and the streaming service has already confirmed that a season seven is on the way.

Deadline has confirmed that scripts for the seventh season are currently being written and will be ready in January. The new season will begin filming in spring 2025.

Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith also revealed that season 7 likely will not be the final season.

“No plans to wrap up the series anytime soon, and as long as people keep coming back for it, we’re proud and happy to keep telling these stories,” he said.

Virgin River has been renewed for season seven ahead of season six’s debut next month!

The sixth season premieres on December 19, 2024, but since the show is such a huge success on Netflix, they already renewed the series! Season seven will feature 10, one-hour long episodes.
